Airawat resort is very good option to stay in Diveagar. I visited on 25th to 27th December 2013. It is very calm place to stay. Rooms are clean and hygenic, although they do not have food facility but caretaker Mr. Rupesh can provide you with tea/coffee. Also there are many eating options nearby but all are only kokani food. You must try Solkadi and Ukdiche Modak.
Beach is at 10 minutes walking distance. Please carry enough cash as there is no ATM centre in Diveagar, you can find SBI ATM at Borli Panchatan which is just 5 KM from Diveagar.

At one end of the beach is a fishing settlement, while the other end has a sanctuary of migratory seagulls. Diveagar is just like any other small sleepy Konkan village, beautiful beach, and traditional homes. Diveagar is an ideal weekend getaway away from city crowd, but be prepared to be surprised by the simplicity and calmness offered by this place. The beach contains a number of Suru trees (Casuarina), which are common to coastal Maharashtra. The access to the beach has a dense cover of Belu trees, which are otherwise uncommon in the area. Another major attraction in Diveagar village is a temple of Lord Ganesh. The idol has a mask which is made of pure gold. This mask was discovered by Mrs. Patil, a few decades back buried along with other treasure in a thick copper trunk in her beetle farm, opposite Abhyankar's House. Diveagar is a popular beach destination along with nearby towns of Shrivardhan Origin of the Peshwas and Harihareshwar. Sand Bubble Crabs can be found on the beach and at nearby Harihareshwar one can find Dolphins. ... more less
