We had darshan during the evening, even though there was line there was no rush or no one asking you to hurry up in the line. Stay for the evening aarti, it is good. We avoided darshan in the morning as there was a lot of rush.
It is a remote area but very peaceful and always in monsoon season it is raining continuously so carry an umbrella

This temple is situated in Horanadu which is 9 kms from Kalasa. we travelled from Bangalore via Kunigal, Hassan, Belur, Mudigere, Kalasa, Horanadu. The route is very good and nearer compared to other routes. This temple provides free food to all. ( Lunch is served between 12 to 2.30 PM) and the dinner is served between 7 to 9 PM).

Not too far away from Coorg is a temple in the mountains dedicated to Goddess Annapoorneshwari. Legend has it that a visit to this temple would ensure that one would get food for every meal of his life. The temple itself is really great and a scenic destination in the hills. Don't miss the meal offered in the temple; it's tasty and divine.

Visited this temple during Jan 2017, amazing temple I would stay.
We did kumkum archana pooja which happens around 7 clock in the evening, darshan was very very good and you will feel the calmness in your mind.
Do not miss the food which is served in the temple, amazing way of serving the food for all the pilgrims visiting the temple

This holy place is located at Chikkamagalur District of Karnataka with a distance of around 330 kms from Bengaluru. Excellant toll roads upto Hassan and later also pleasant roads. This place has a great advantage of nature and in the midst of this hilly region godess Adhishakthyathmaka Sri Annapoorneshwari Temple is located. Excellant darshan and pooja along with sumptuous food served by the temple authorities (free) and stay at Bhakthi Nivas with very very reasonable cost.
