Hummingbird is the self-contained ground floor apartment of the Crowsnest II beachfront villa. The property is located at the south end of the Platinum Coast of Barbados, is 30ft from the sea, and has a unique 180 degree view of its longest beach. Built in 2006, this spacious 2,000 sq ft (200 m²) apartment was designed to be owners the primary residence in retirement and is finished to a high standard. Furnished and decorated with hardwoods and natural stone it features 1 air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a massive kitchen and a 30×12 foot private beachfront terrace. While designed for guests who want to self-cater, a cook can be arranged, at additional cost, if required. There is a full-time maid/laundress to wash-up, do laundry, and to clean and service the rooms daily. Perfect place in amazing beachfront location. Super fast internet!
We had an extended stay at Hummingbird and every aspect of it was WONDERFUL. The space was sparkling clean, very spacious, and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The location is simply amazing. You can step right out the front door on the best part of one of the best beaches on the island. A nice grocery store and great restaurant are walking distance away, as is Mt. Gay distillery and a farmer's market. Very quiet and safe. Tons of other restaurants and stores are within a short driving distance. Definitely rent a car, but it's easy to get a taxi as well. The internet is blazing fast and extremely reliable. Ideal for a remote work situation. The house was serviced several times per week at no additional cost. Hosts were extremely helpful, friendly, and responsive. Cannot recommend this rental more strongly. Everything was great!

Great spot! Just as advertised :) (Level 4 Contributor)
Awesome west coast spot. Just feet from the sea and 85* waters. 3 bedroom 1st floor apt was well appointed and our housekeepers Maureen and Marion were fantastic. Close to great restaurants on the beach and easy shopping at Carlton or Massey. Located about 1.5km from the port was great to watch the ships come and go. We love Barbados and will definetly be back to Hummingbird. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely Beautiful!!
This apartment is located right on the beach and has the most incredible views. Upon arriving it took our breath away! The beach was really quiet and only really had people walking past now and then. It was like having the beach to yourself! We were a group of students, staying on the island doing a 4 week placement at one of the local hospitals. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to the closest supermarket which was perfect for us. There is also a really good transport network from the supermarket; where you can go anywhere on the island pretty much. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. They kept the place so clean and tidy! We felt right at home throughout our stay and would highly recommend staying here if you are thinking about going to Barbados. The owner was so helpful before and during our trip and we knew we would have someone to ask if we had any problems. 10/10, thanks so much!! I hope we can come back one day!

Magical stay on the beach
Stayed here in March with my husband and a friend, the location is perfect right on one of the best beaches in Barbados , so peacefull we had the beach mostly to ourselves , the apartment was amazing furnished to a very high standard , huge kitchen dining area with everything we needed, great range cooker, all the bedrooms spotless with lovely marble bathrooms , fans and air conditioning. Very secure with handy keyless entry , use of sunbeds and a kayak was a great bonus. An idyllic place to watch the sun go down if you like peace and quiet and getting away from the crowds I can highly recommend it .

Everything you could imagine and more
I stayed here in April of this year and cannot wait to return. It's location - Literally straight onto a white sandy idyllic beach and its crystal clear blue ocean. This area is so quiet and peaceful and only known mostly to the locals as they take their morning strolls along the beach, never passing by without a wave and a good morning or have a wonderful day. This villa is exceptional. The villa had everything you could want for a self catering holiday, well equipped, with every modern gadget you could think of. It even has dish washer and a laundry room. It's cleanliness was second to none thanks to our amazing housekeeper Marrion. She really spoiled us and nothing was too much trouble for her. The decor and the furniture was of the best quality and each room decorated and maintained to very high standards. Each bedroom has air cinditioning too. We had the best holiday, and without a shadow of doubt I would 100% guarantee you the best holiday ever. We recommended you hire a car and go driving around this beautiful island. My fondest memory is sat on the beach with my cocktail, looking the most amazing sunsets and watching the cruise liners depart on their next voyage. If peace, tranquility, high standard accommodation, beach location, rest and making memories is on your list of priorities ......... then look no further. You will get this and more at Hummingbird. You will not be disappointed. We will be returning very soon. Thank you for an amazing stay.
