Arrived at this beautiful house and found some issues. Called the rental agency within an hour but they did not return our call until the following morning. We had a king size bed with queen size sheets and the cleaning woman said she realised this when making the bed but had no plans to rectify until we called. Next, the coffee machine was not clean and the cleaning people put it on the front porch and just left it there. We finally brought it inside. (We used our own machine and grinder fortunately brought down from Perth). Next, a roller blind needed putting back on the track but no-one ever came to do it so we finally fixed it ourselves with a child being held to feed the track back. And then water appeared in the games room floor - we contacted the agency and they assured us a plumber would come. He never did and we felt unsafe using the washing machine. For almost a thousand dollars a day we really did expect better service.
So onto the positives - what a great location and views. Utterly fantastic. And the house was stunning. yes, three bedrooms with bathrooms plus a double bunk outside in the laundry/games area without a bathroom. So 8 people could fit into this property. Beautiful push button blinds. Great kitchen, lounge and outdoor area. No undercover car parking area. Main bedroom had a sky light with blind but the control did not work and the cleaner couldnt work it either - she said the handyman would come to look at it but no-one did. To open the sliding out glass doors in the main bathroom to get fresh air you had stand in the sunken bath which was between the doors and the shower. Pretty impractical.
So it would have been heaps better if things had been handled better by the letting agent/cleaner/handyman. Dont know who is at fault here but we were on the receiving end and hence the review.
