very pretty temple in magnificent setting.
Don't mind to get your feet wet when coming here.
Be early or the crowds are overwhelming.
Biggest downfall are the quite aggressive vendors all around the area.

Magical, Spiritual and Unforgettable!! A must see for travellers both young and old. Even if you miss the sunset it is a remarkable place to be.

This temple is a "must see" place given its location and surrounds. The only disappointing aspect is that you cannot get into the actual temple itself. For the photographers in us all - if you want to get amazing shots of the area then you will need more time than the standard tour timings - hire your own car and go at lunchtime. There are plenty of shopfronts and local souvenir shops inside the temple complex - shopoholics can get their fix easily. We had a great time but were very fortunate there were few tour groups. I would hate to be here on a really busy day. Would reccomend this temple to others.

We arrived too late for the sunset but we're lucky enough to walk over to the island where we received a blessing from the holy man. There is a pure fresh water spring which we were invited to drink from and it was just lovely. It was a very spiritual experience in a stunning location.

Next time I come to Bali we will not try to pack so much into the day as the photographic optportunities here are unique.

When you walk up the through the shops on the hill opposite the island you will see a shop with tame Lewaks in it you can pat!
