“Pretty Average”
Reviewed December 18, 2013

There are many small temples developed just for the sake of cashing in on the actual Somnath Temple's fame. But this is strictly an average place.

“"Even the lord died"”
Reviewed December 13, 2013

This place is to be believed where lord Krishna breathed his last after being shot by an arrow which was shot by a native hunter who mistook Krishna's legs for that of a deer !!

Apart from this piece of history / belief there is nothing great about this place, pathetically managed, full of mud, dust....

Was excited to see this place but once been there did not feel nothing important about this.....

The temple also looks very ordinary and no signs of such importance here, still wonder why photography is not allowed here !!!

Would not have regretted missing this place.

“No one to take care.”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Place is in ruins. No one to manage. Such an historic or mythological place.

Also major irritant was no photograpy allowed. This was not a temple The idol which was symbolic was so beautiful.

No one seemed to care of such a significant place. No upkeep.
