We were staying locally and decided to pay the wildlife park a visit. It was very quiet, but we did go on a Thursday during term time. Because it was so quiet we were able to take a gentle stroll around the park without being rushed.

Due to visiting in the winter months the eating area was closed, but we were able to get a snack and hot drink in the gift shop.

We managed to get round quite quickly, but was still a lovely visit.

Decided to go here as not been for about 20 years with my own children ... I had fond memories so decided to take my friends daughter as a birthday surprise . I love animals but found enclosures a bit small and animal pacing which they said on the plaques that this behaviour was normal but I found unsettling . Cafe was ok but basic tables not wiped and most food sparse as out of season visit . Entry fee a bit steep for a small wildlife park but enjoyable for the few hours we spent there .

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at Thrigby! Whilst there aren’t huge amounts of animals there, everything was well spaced out and the animals had loads of room. We particularly enjoyed the cats and monkeys and the tropical house was great fun.

We love taking grandchildren here as it's a friendly site with lots of variety. Apart from the obvious animals there is a play area, tree walk, covered picnic area and cafe. Whilst the animals are not as extensive as larger zoos there is still plenty of variety. It's not quite a full-day destination and the price reflects this

We had a Great time visiting here this week. It was so amazing to get so up and close to the different animals. The walk ways above the cages are fantastic too and it provides great views of the different animals there. There was lots to see and a variety of animals from red pandas to lions and leopards to crocodiles and snakes. There’s a place to get food such as sandwiches, sausage rolls and cakes and drinks. There is also lots of picnic tables to bring your own food and you can stamp your hand to go out and come back in again. The parking was ample and free. There was also a play area for the children which was great fun.

First trip to a zoo environment with our grandchild. Not cheap to go in for adults but well worth it. Possible to get really close to animals and birds which was great for the little one to see them properly. Not too big and easy to get round with push chair. The animals/birds were in large pens and looked very healthy.

Myself and my partner visited here for the first time. What a gem in the middle of the east Norfolk countryside. As my partner is a wheelchair user we were pleasantly surprised of how well the wildlife park was laid out and the effort that had been put in to making it as accessible as possible for wheelchairs (and buggies). The fact that I could go above the enclosures and look down onto the animals was an amazing experience for us both as were able to view from a different perspective. Although this is a smallish wildlife park there is a good variety of animals and you could see that they are all extremely well looked after and cared for. The staff that we did encounter were friendly and very helpful. We didn't visit the cafe but did have a good wander around the well stocked gift shop which again was easily accessible. Myself and my partner had a thoroughly amazing day out and would recommend anyone to go and visit.

We always have a great time at Thrigby. We love the way the walkways take you right up and around the animals. You get to see the animals right up close, amazing. Our boys love it there, and the play area is just enough when they need something different. The café is reasonable and has quite a range of sandwiches and cakes, as well as a few hot things.
