The restaurant is on a good location and the ambiance and style of the restaurant is good, But food for the cost is average.. been eating Thai food for a year and more have had better ...

If you have a bill of THB 500+ or so you get a free ride to see the fire flies that is what makes it worth paying for the food :)

“Superb Food, Great Service and a free lift home!”
Reviewed December 7, 2013

We stayed in accommodation on the opposite side of the river to Phu Talay, the restaurant is happy to send a boat to pick you up and return you at the end of your meal.

The location of the restaurant is beautiful, right on the edge of the river and serves a fantastic selection of seafood dishes all very reasonably priced.

On our last night the boatman took us for a trip down the river to show us the fireflies - it was incredible.

Well worth a visit

“Perfect meal”
Reviewed November 27, 2013

I've just eaten one of the best seafood meals I've ever had. The seabass curry was perfectly cooked and fragrant, and the shrimp cakes were crisp on the outside, and succulent in the middle, with a great dip. The staff were sweet and welcoming and they take you for a boat trip to see the fireflies after dinner. Portions are very generous so go canny! I want it all though! It was the best meal of the trip so far.
