First stop on our foodie day out Stanthorpe south-side and what an unexpected pleasure. From the king parrots feeding outside to the amazing selection of hand made chocolates inside and lovely staff made sure Heavenly Chocolate was well worth the visit.

Not really a hot chocolate drinker, especially mid-summer, but the varietal range on offer is so large that just had to try something different to boring old plain. Settled on the raspberry-infused version with a white chocolate peanut cookie on the side (no savoury treats here).

There are two cabinets 'choc' full of beautiful individual, handmade delights which we felt were very reasonably priced. We settled for mixed-six and later in the evening were able to confirm that they tasted even better than they looked.

Huge array of exquisite chocolates hand made on site and a must drop in venue if you are going to / from Girraween National Park or the Environmental lodge. Warning to bargain hunters - hand made chocolates are not cheap, unlike the robot made chocolates and bars purchased in supermarkets.. There's a lot of tender love, care and labour hours gone into making the chocolates here and the array of flavours is astonishing.

Great little spot as you head into Girraween National park. A chocolate hit before you hit the walking trails and then great coffee and (20 plus flavours) of hot chocolate for after. Yummo

Well worth the short trip down the road to experience great treats and hospitality!

We have stocked up on the Turkish delight and dark choc berries. Enjoy!

We dropped in on our way back from Girraween. The lady serving was very friendly and chatted warmly with all those that visited. The chocolates are expensive but very high quality. We sat out the back enjoying the sunshine and our chocolates while watching a beautiful King Parrot on the bird feeder.
