There truly isn't a single dish here that's not fantastic. Whether the red curry, green curry, massanan, penang, stir fries....or any of the starters or sides, they're all amazing. Lovely setting and polite prompt service. This is our go-to favourite by a mile

Great Thai food is hard to beat, the flavours are typically so zesty fresh and light but I found the dishes here to be heavy with far too much sugar in. The result being that the flavours, while still tasty, were super concentrated and the sauces very thick and heavy. Everything else about this place is wonderful. Portion sizes are generous and the service is great. There's plenty of variety on the menu and the wine list and bar offer an extensive selection.

I tend to think that there are a lot of Thai restaurants that serve good food, but with little to distinguish one from another. Maisie is not one of these. As soon as the starters arrived ( admittedly the safe option of a mixed platter ), the flavours and textures were attention-grabbing. For mains, we went for fairly staple dishes as well, but a couple that really stood out were the tamarind duck and the basil and chilli mixed seafood. Some really intense flavours going on there. The red chicken curry and pad Thai didn’t disappoint, but compared to the seafood and duck, had to take second place. The quality here is as you’d expect from an expensive London restaurant...and yet here we have reasonable prices in a quiet village.

My wife and I had a truly lovely dining experience here at Maisie, and were very pleasantly surprised to find such a gem virtually on our doorstep. f only we'd known about it sooner!

Maisie may be an odd name for a Thai restaurant, and the decor - while stylish and classy - may be more reminiscent of Shoreditch trendy bars, but the food and service are authentic. A very friendly welcome, a lovely atmosphere and buzz to the place, without being so crowded as to deny intimacy. Menu contained most of the staples you expect in a Thai restaurant in the UK, as well as some more unique courses. Service was quick and the food was excellent, with the exception of the desserts, which looked like they'd not been pulled from the deep freezer quite early enough to thoroughly defrost, hence my denying a fifth star. Otherwise, absolutely top notch all round.

And, the toilets were not only clean, but bright and smelled actively pleasant!

We went here for a weekday dinner and were pleasantly surprised.
The food was super tasty, with a lot of variety to choose from, including a lot of authentic thai dishes.
I had the Som Tam salad to start, which was huge, and then an amazing prawn cocount curry for main. So so tasty and the staff were lovely. We couldn't finish all the food, but they were more than happy to package it up to take away with us.
