Located 15 minutes walk from the Marina, or 5 euro taxi ride the apartment building itself is in the middle of an area of numerous other apartment buildings, they are all however low rise and very quiet. It can be a little bit of a surprise on arrival, but really once you get your bearings, accustom yourself to the various pedestrian only paths and bike lanes which if walking get you to the marina much faster than going by road, you'll soon not even notice them.
The apartment has great aircon in bedrooms and livingroom, a wonderfully stocked kitchen and a balcony which gets the sun in August from about 2:00p.m. to well into the evening. Super choice of english and irish tv channels.
The apartment has its own 4 sunbeds which you can access for your exclusive use, but to be honest, there usually were always communal beds available, the pool never got overcrowded during our 8 day stay at presumably peak season in August.
Very happy overall, had everything we needed with 3 children aged 2-10. The people staying varied from families to couples with a good age range. Everyone when we were there were very friendly, a very calm air around the place, nobody fussing but nobody giving anyone else any reason to fuss.
Very good and will return
Not as flash as the tivoli but much better location to walk into the marina and local shops
