Awful hotel, in a great resort. Needs knocking down! Very well located for marina and great beach, staff friendly enough. Rooms had pubic hair all over them, towels never changed in 5 night stay.breakfast poor, reception dark and dowdy with a bad smell about the place. Swimming pool wasn't the cleanest and the worst most uncomfortable sunbeds ever. Basically just really rundown but cheap digs for vilamoura and suited to stag or hen weekends where most people are so drunk they don't notice how poor the place is.

I stayed for 3 nights in June with my partner. The location was 1 min from the Marina so a great base. As others have mentioned there are bars immediately under the apartments but if you get a high floor room this shouldn't bother you. Being there for the Euro games certainly added to the atmosphere in Vilamoura.

Breakfast was more than adequate, I was surprised given the reviews below! I stay in a lot of hotels for work and this was just right for the standard of the property. The pool was very quiet, lots of sunloungers and shade. The apartments are only a short walk from the beach too (on the other side of the Tivoli Vilamoura).

There were families, couples and golfers there during my stay and everyone was catered for. Overall I'd stay here again, but wouldn't rate it as a luxury stay. The apartment was well equipped and very roomy, totally fit for purpose.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor

Stayed in a 4 person suite and found it to be clean & modern. This hotel is not the most luxurious but, as mentioned, the apartment was good. The corridors look a bit ropey and the door to each room wouldn't look out of place in a concentration camp. Having said that the breakfast is fine, the pool area is fine, the staff were friendly and the location is MAGNIFICENT - 1 min walk from the Marina & 5 from the beach. Bit odd having a Brothel under the hotel but whatever takes your fancy. Great place for groups of golfers but wouldn't stay there with my family.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner apartment, fabulous veiws in all directions.

Hotel/apartments a bit tired now but still a great location and views.

If you have a room over looking harbour it can be noisy into the early hours, but has evening sun on balconies from 4pm to 9pm - great to early evening G&T before popping out for supper.

Breakfast limited, continental, with small choice of eggs, bacon and sausages.

Groups include families and golfing groups.

Room Tip: Request a room with pool view as harbour views are noisy into the early hours. But harbour view has...

Stayed as a party of three on a golfing trip it was an excellent choice at the centre of all the activity. It was reasonable quiet on our stay but would be noisier I feel during high season particularly at the front. I would recommend that you get a room at the rear overlooking the pool in any event to be on the safe side. The room was very comfortable and well serviced we had clean towels everyday and the beds made up something I was not expecting. It being more like an apartment than a hotel. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise and whilst not gourmet was perfectly adequate for a carb load up before golf.

We arrived at the hotel to find nothing more than a run down shack that looked more like a prison than a four star hotel! Our 2 bedroom sweet was a big empty room above a brothel. It had one bathroom between four guys which smelt like a sewer. the beds were tiny and the furniture on th balcony was broken and dirty. One of our party also had money stolen fom the safe.

Four of us shared a two-bed apartment on the 7th floor. Very spacious rooms with lots of storage. Lounge area very basic but dining and kitchen facilities excellent. Beds clean and comfy. Bathroom desperately in need of refurbishing. We took a marina view which gave us lovely views. Access to large balcony from both bedrooms and lounge. The breakfast was very good. Great choice of fruit and cereals and a hot menu which changed daily. As there is no beach we made lots of use of the pool area. Everything fine, gardens well tended and pool a good size with areas for children. Only complaint was the state of the sun loungers all rather scruffy and dirty.

Room Tip: less noise from the ground floor bars on higher floors
