Just like to say my family would definetly stay at this hotel again. We spent 2 weeks there at the end of April and we loved it. We booked a suite for the 3 of us which was huge and had a lovely view. Breakfast was varied and the staff were very nice. Hotel was spotless and the pool area was very well kept. Kids pool was great surrounded by grass which was safe for all concerned, unfortunetly wasnt heated. Only real complaint was the noise from Pura beach club next door but it wasnt every night but id say high season could be a problem. Overall would reccommend this hotel. Also they sell lovely wine at reception at a very reasonable price!

Room Tip: Get a suite away from the beach club

We went to this hotel at the end of May for 7 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Its a lovely hotel. Would recommend to upgrade to a seaview room. The view is breathtaking from balcony. The staff in hotel are very friendly. The breakfast was five star plenty of choice. There are plenty of sunbeds. This was our first time at this hotel and would stay in it again. However my main concern would be when you go out to the main entrance there is a small road to the left of the hotel. Please avoid this road at night-time because my husband and I were confronted by muggers with a knife looking for money only they were disturbed by a car thankfully they were startled and ran off. This was a horrible experience and would hate for anyone else to experience this. We reported it to reception who phoned Police. They came out very quickly. This is when we learned it happened to another couple two weeks prior to us but they succeeded in robbing the other couple. This incident would not put us off going back it would make us more aware.

Room Tip: Definately upgrade to a seaview room its breathtaking from the balcony!! We were on the 5th floor in a mid floor room with seaview.

We first visited this hotel in January and went back in June. The rooms over looking the sea give you the perfect view, they are large enough and very comfortable. A large balcony affords great views both day and night. In door pool and gym for the winter, out door pool for the summer. A very good buffet breakfast. Reasonably priced massages and facials as well as free access to steam room ad sauna. If you want to do nothing and just relax. There is also a games room. Children are welcomed and the atmosphere is friendly and gives the impression of being a part of a a family. All the staff we found to be happy and helpful. It is also just a short walk to the marina or the small squares where you will find a number of very good traditional Portuguese restaurants.

Stayed here for our honeymoon 28 May - 4 June 13, what an hotel! We upgraded to full sea-view over looking the pool, bigger room with separate kitchen.
Hotel is spotless, staff are brilliant and the food is out of this world.
Well recommended and near the marina and beach.

I have just come back from a week in Vilamoura and stayed here and can't fault it, we booked a junior suite so had a little kitchen with fridge and oven as well as a sitting area, originally we were given a room on the first floor right above the reception door top so we had a very limited view, my boyfriend went down to ask if there was any way that we could be moved to a room with a better view, we were told not to unpack and that if we came back down in the morning there would hopefully be a room on a higher floor, we went down and they moved us to the 6th floor, with the most fantastic view, they were really helpful the whole week through and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and had a very big balcony which caught the afternoon sun. The food was lovely with a different buffet selection each night and morning, the waiters were also very friendly. We didn't use the swimming pool but it never looked too busy out there with a lot of people sunbathing at the back, I think to shelter from the wind. We went to Aqua land whilst there which was ok, I think we got tickets from the dearest place though so if you're going to book some, look around before buying as you'll get a better deal that way. On our last day we went on a buggy Safari which is definitely worth doing, it was 60euros per buggy but if the 2 of you share, you both have a go as they stop half way at a really pretty lake. We had a good 3 hours out and went along the roads and dusty tracks, at the end we even went down some really steep slopes, it was brilliant and the women running it are so friendly!! The only thing I would advise is when going to jafers, the little supermarket by the Dom Pedro Marina Hotel, check your change, my boyfriend didn't realise he'd been shortchanged by a euro until he got back to our hotel, the following night we went to get some stuff from there and the same lady was there again, I checked my change and again we'd been given a euro less, my boyfriend went into complain and the woman didn't even have to check our receipt and gave us the euro instantly so she's probably keeping a euro of all the tourists change so just make sure you check it. All in all though brilliant hotel in a fantastic location, although the music opposite goes on very late, it was playing at 4.30 most nights, could be later and it is very loud. I think the hotel has entertainment every night from about 10.30, we only experienced 2 nights and from what we saw, I feel the entertainment might be aimed at older customers. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask if you would like a better room, the reception staff are brilliant and will help you out if possible
