We stayed all inclusive in a one bed superior apartment at Parque Mourabel (room 42 which was on the 3rd floor and there is a lift)from the 22nd-31st of October. We paid €20 for use of the safe during our stay.We got very good wi-fi in our room.Appartment had a well equipped kitchen, fridgefreezer,Microwave, toaster and oven.Bedroom was small but adequate with two single beds,a dressing table with a mirror above it and a sliding wardrobe with drawers & lots of hanging space for clothes & A/C in room.Bathroom was small but again adequate and there was a small hairdryer in the drawer under the wash hand basin,bath/shower.toilet.Kids slept on the mattress couches in the sitting come dining area and there was A/C...Balcony was a nice size and our view was of Oasis Village accross the road but you could see the sea in the distance.Cleaners were very good and always available to help in anyway, clean towels etc etc..
Bar/Restaurant is located on the ground floor. We found all the Bar staff excellent, they seemed to all work very well as a team with the restaurant staff, they were all very helpful & friendly with their own fun personalities, good at singing too!.There was a great selection of drinks on the all inclusive at the bar,Local spirits, beer, cream liquors, bottles of water,wines,tea/coffee and minerals. No kids cocktails or fizzy orange though on the all inclusive ....we also really enjoyed the entertainment at night, mostly band/singers and a karaoke night which was very good-there was no kiddies entertainment at night or no bingo which we were quite happy about but kids did enjoy the singing and there was a pool table and football table there and a lot of families play cards at night.Vilamoura Marina is only a 20min walk or a €5-6 taxi away for a different variety of entertainment or scenery!.Restaurant Staff were excellent and worked very hard,we were all inclusive but because it was quiet,we got a menu each day, there was only a buffet breakfast. There was also an a la carts menu if you wished to pay extra for.Breakfast consisted of Hot beans, scrambled eggs & bacon.Cold cheese and ham slices, fresh fruit and tinned fruit cocktail, cereals, fruit juices,tea/coffee/hot chocolate, bread rolls and toast, butters and jams.
Lunch menu-Starter,Soup or salad or Orange squash.Main-Omellettes,Grilled Salmon,Hake in Batter,Burgers,Hot Dogs,Steak sandwich,Pork mourabel style, fried eggs, all served with chips or boiled potatoes,Veg or side salad.Pasta dishes like spaghetti carbonara,Spaghetti Bolognese,noodles.Desert-ice cream, warm chocolate cake which was gorgeous!!!
Dinner Menu-Starter,Hot Soup,Tuma Salad or Orange Squash.Mains-Roast Chicken,Grilled Salmon,Spaghetti Carbonara all served Chips or roast potatoes /boiled potatoes veg or salad.Other mains throughout the week were Roast turkey,Roast Pork,Beef Stew,Fish in white sauce, fish in batter,Pasta dishes-Our Kids favourite was the Roast chicken,it was fab!.All served with chips or Potatoes, veg or salad.Deserts-fresh melon all varieties, cakes, custard Carmel which we really enjoyed.A basket of bread or bread rolls were served with all meals. The Restaurant/Bar had a glass conservatory attached where you could go and smoke,it is well ventilated and overlooks the lovely garden and swimming pool.We don't smoke.4pm-5pm..snacks..buns & a pastry biscuit available.
We found the all inclusive very good value,it suited us because we like to relax most days by the pool and we didn't have to carry money all the time and had it all paid for a couple of months before we arrived.
Drinks on the all-inclusive were available from 10am-10pm after that time you can pay for your drink and drink is a lot cheaper here compared to the marina!.Breakfast-8am-10am
Lunch-1230-2pm/Dinner-7pm-10pm
Free bus down to Vilamoura at 9am-11am and 4pm but there are taxis and a train available at a small charge. We would recommend Parque Mourabel as its clean, superior Appartments are a nice size and the staff are really lovely and work very hard to please everybody, very good value for money considering how near it is to Vilamoura marina and they are updating a lot of the apartments. If you book directly with them, you can pick the Appartment you'd like to stay in if its available and they will collect you at the airport!
We went to faro one of the days and took a boat out to ILHA DESERTA,it's an uninhabited island with 11km pristine beach and it has one Restaurant on this island called Estamine, serves fab seafood, there is veal steak, chicken salad or pork on the menu if you don't like seafood. We loved this island...If your visiting Vilamora Marina, there is a fab Chinese restaurant right beside the 19th hole!.

Well, what can I say? Except for what a pleasant surprise! We loved our 9 night stay here in a self catering, 1 bedroom superior apartment in the Pé De Lago building. The accommodation was absolutely brilliant. Clean and well appointed with regard to the kitchenette. Lovely balcony too. What struck me was how spacious the apartment was. We visited in October 2016. It wasn't very busy, but that's how we like it. Very quiet location. It's a lovely 25 minutes walk to the Vilamoura Marina or Felésia beach along a purpose built pedestrian walkway. There is a mini supermarket on site for all you may need for self catering which is ideal. We will be visiting again. Thank you.

Visited here beginning of October. Never been to Vilamoura but heard good things! This was booked pretty last minute if I had known better I would of booked a apartment closer to the Marina.
The apartments were spacious, clean and had everything you would need, ironing board, microwave, TV etc etc! The only down fall was that the beds were rock hard and hurt our backs, we did speak to reception but nothing was done so we put the mattresses off the camp beds onto our beds and that was better. Pools were good size and there was a busier one and a kid one. The only annoying thing each apartment was given one key and you needed this to access the pool so you all had to stay together or you couldn't get in or out. There was a beauty salon, Indian restaurant which also served a lunch menu and a SPAR shop which was very handy on site as well as a restaurant by reception. The apartments were a good 30-40 minutes walk to the Marina, taxi prices varied from €5-€8 to the Marina, I found if you asked before you got in the taxis how much it would cost they would always say €5, I wish I asked this every time as some of them had me on! There was a little train that took you around the resort and would also drop you to the Marina, this was handy and good for kids, I think it cost about €4 each way! I would definitely come back to Vilamoura as I loved the Marina but maybe not this hotel as I was a bit bored after a week as it is so secluded. I wouldn't recommend here for children.

We stayed in the oasis village - huge 2 storie,2 bedroom,2 bathroom apartment! Maids came most days & kept it lovely & clean.
Well equipped kitchen and full size fridge, not that we did any cooking but nice to put drinks & milk in.
Nice clean pool with lovely garden area, sunbeds in plentiful supply so no worries there.
Staff friendly & helpful.
We had 1 lunch & 1 dinner in the restaurant both were nice & good value.
Taxis down to the Marina cost between €4.50-€6.00.
There is also the tourist train which takes you all round the area €6 for the whole day jump on & off.
There is a public bus that we took to Faro €4.30 one way & takes about an hour.
Highly recommend the little local restaurant at the bottom of the road 'Carpa' lovely food, good price & very friendly staff, gets very busy!
Also the bakery next door does a lovely coffee & Portuguese custard tart.
Would I go back? To Vilamoura yes, but to this hotel, no just a little too far out for us, but for what we paid it was very good.
