Hotel is ok and staff helpful and cheery but I’ve had far better service from other 5* hotels. The beach and the prices are ridiculous @35€ just for the lounger and a bottle of water, I had to call over the bar staff as I’d been on my bed for all most
an hour without even been offered a drink (not acceptable when there was only a handful of people on beds ). The pool area is ok beds not 5* quality and had to hunt them down some days and could only ever get in the grassed areas and not around the pool.

The view from the room over the marina was beautiful but room it’s self not so much basic and unclean and it remained like that the whole week, only had beds made and maybe a quick wipe down of the bath and that was it (pictures to follow). Dust everywhere glass not cleaned bathroom mirror not even wiped down just couldn’t believe it not even a wipe down of the table on the balcony!!!. 2 capsules for the coffee machine the whole stay when there was 3 people in the room and a bottle of water !!!! Really the prices you charge to stay here its a joke.

Breakfast was as expected with a good choice and staff courteous so no problems there but can get manic in the and queues out of the door.

Overall we had a good holiday and enjoyed the view in the evening with a glass of wine but for the price we paid I could have gone to far better.

Besides the excellent location of the hotel, overlooking the beach, next to Marina Vilamoura, the center of all animation, we have, in fact, a team of excellence that does everything to meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
We are deeply sorry to know that your experience fell short of your expectations.
Please note that the coffee in the room is a facility that we provide to our guests so they can enjoy it in the comfort of their own rooms without having to move to the bar. However, our guests’ feedback is very important to us, so we can improve our standards, and they will be taken into consideration for future improvements.
At this moment the prices practiced at Tivoli Marina Vilamoura are competitively priced with the entire market in Algarve, where the rigor and freshness of the product and service prevail. Please note that Purobeach Beach Club results of a partnership with the Hotel and, among other Hotel facilities, there is an extra charge for its usage as advertised. Nevertheless, our Guests enjoy a special discount on the bed prices and this one includes a welcome tray and beach towel.

Booked this in the BA sale, I thought it was a great location and great hotel, I agree however it’s a little jaded for a 5 star hotel, smoked glass toilet doors in the bedroom, that don’t lock!! Please, who thought that was a good idea, lights in the lift that don’t work, signs held up with double sided sticky tape, ripped carpet on the harbour side entrance and according to my wife 2 toilets that didn’t lock pool side, the maintenance really needs to up their game.

That being said, we had a great time, the staff were really friendly and helpful, apart from the smoked glass doors the bedroom was well appointed , and the breakfast buffet was excellent every day! An enjoyable stay, just fix the niggles!

Repeat visit to this well known landmark, so we clearly like it. Score 3.5: Good
It’s a conveyor-built hotel: big busy brash noisy but the attentive and helpful staff bring that personal touch
Great for a short break; longer break not so sure. Perfect for golf: the free bus shuttle good but you must book and be patient: 10 mins Portuguese estimated wait time is a 30 GMT one!
Location is its main advantage; breakfast vg and pool/bar area good
Whether it’s truly 5* is debatable but honestly didn’t spoil our break
However, to be charged to use the beach sun beds as hotel guests is outrageous and should be stopped: they should be free. Returned to pool to sunbathe rather than pay €35 per person per bed
Come on Tivoli: a way to extort more money out of guests, we stay at other 5* establishments on the Algarve where private beach sun beds owned by the hotel are free all day to hotel guests; non hotel guests pay silly money for the experience. Tivoli management should do the same; simply don’t accept Purobeach is a ‘different concept’ - it’s a sunbed on the beach afterall and a bit too much like Love Island! Not interested in the music/DJ etc; just wanted to lie on the sunbed at the beach! Would have paid for lunch at Purobeach so Tivoli lost out. Review the policy please!

We had saved a bottle of wine from a vineyard that we had visited in order to toast the last night of our awesome vacation in Portugal, but this hotel, while they give you wine glasses in the room doesn’t allow outside beverages. To stop the behavior, they charge 7 euros to use a corkscrew. So we’ve packed the bottle to take home and celebrate there.

When we checked in, our room didn’t have face cloths, but did have a bath mat. By the second day, housekeeping removed the bath mat. So we were down to one hand towel as we were using the other as a bath mat.

The breakfast was good, though there was only one cook at the omelette station, so the line stacked up.

There’s were plenty of sun beds available. The pool was clean. In the afternoon there are waiters taking drink orders from sun bathers.

Overall, though it was not a 5 star experience.

Nice mini break! Hotel is clean and breakfast is good. We had a room facing the harbour. Quite noisy at night time as people partied into the early hours at the bars below.
The balcony provided a lovely sitting area to observe the going ons below ( I love people watching!) however the light on the balcony was very bright and could not be turned off- which made it not so pleasant in the evening. The light also meant our bedroom was lit up at night .
