We only ended up here as it was across the road from our apartment and we were too tired on our first night to walk down to the marina. It is in a slightly odd location in a rather tired looking complex with the Cactus Bar and Parky's.
Given it was a Thursday night in early April and its inauspicious location, the place was virtually full. The staff were charming and showed us to a corner table. It is very simply decorated. The other diners were large groups, families and couples - a whole range. We just had salads to start which were brightened with the addition of some salad dressing (after I requested oil and vinegar). I then had the Portuguese steak for my main - a sirloin cooked in a pottery dish with sliced potatoes and, bizarrely, topped with a slice of processed ham!! However it was juicy and delicious. My partner had a mixed meat kebab which came hanging from a stand and was a very generous portion. He also had yummy hand-cut 'proper chips', hot from the fryer - just lovely.
With a bottle of red, I think it was around €40 - excellent value for some simple home cooking.
