We were staying in The Old Village for a week, and we had quite a few meals here. We found the service to be friendly and quick enough! Between us over several evenings we tried the ribs, steak, swordfish, chicken piri piri, pizza, prawns and it was all very tasty!! No complaints for any of the food, we enjoyed everything we had! Lovely setting sitting outside the restaurant in the evening with a bottle of wine in the beautiful Old Village. Also during the day we tried some of the cocktails from Casa do Largo, all decious especially the Bannoffee cocktail! Gorgeous!
Also notice they do afternoon tea with lots of lovely deserts etc. Never tried it myself but it all looked lovely, they also have a vintage little ice cream cart outside!
Would recommend a trip to The Old Village to anyone staying in Vilamoura.

We have eaten here for 3 nights of our holiday & will probably eat here again. We found the staff to be very friendly & helpful.
The food was very good, my partner enjoyed a good steak while I enjoyed the vegetarian option. I have never seenas many vegetarian options on one menu:-)
The restaurant setting was very relaxing & I honestly couldn't find fault with anything.
Definitely worth a visit!!

This is a little gem of a reasturant. The staff could be a little better but the food is very good. We had dinner there 3 times over 10 days with groups from 5 plus kids to 11 plus kids. The only reason we didnt eat there more was because we couldnt get a able. Not once did anyone have any complaint about the food. The staff werent too happy about having to move tables for our largest group which, including kids was about 15 people but they did it and served up a great feast for us. The desserts are unreal, the keylime and pecan pies are a must.
The only downside to this place is the staff and service. They didnt seem interested in keeping people happy and the food wasnt exactly quick but we were always in a group having a chat and a drink so the speed didnt bother us as much as it did others.
Prices are brilliant and you will struggle to find better food anywhere in vilamoura for the same price. Food 10/10, service and staff 6/10.

Returned to this restaurant where the previous year we spent most of time here doing. Well we only visited it once and won't be returning. The problem was it took over 50 minutes from ordering food off the fixed price menu to delivery. Even the waiter was querying it's whereabouts. The owner was offhand saying some large orders had been taken but they arrived 30 minutes after we arrived and they had ordered al carte. Their food arrived 5 minutes after we had ours. Note to beware. Also check your bill as this was the second time an error had been made. As for an apology non existent. Customer service appalling. No there wasn't a language barrier they were English!!!

Attractive British style restaurant with a cross section of popular standard visitor dishes with token local flavour. Had chicken piri-piri that tasted flavoursome but breast over cooked. Quantity was generous and so didn't try the appetising sounding sweets. Good average house wine. Limited number of staff were busy and lacked attentiveness or interest. Cost for two having one main course and a glass of wine £21. Would be good value if better cooked.
