We visited this restaurant once during our stay in Vilamoura. Firstly, we waited 20 minutes for a menu, then we waited an hour and ten minutes for our food. I was only having an omelette. My husband was having lamb chops. Neither of these take very long to cook. The omelette was mediocre and the lamb chops had hardly any meat on them. We would definitely not eat there again. There are several other excellent restaurants with high Trip Advisor ratings nearby and this restaurant has to step up on service and quality of food in order to be able to compete.

2nd year we holidayed in Villamoura, but first time visiting A Broa on a personal recommendation. This is the first time I have posted on Trip Advisor purely due to the level of service, friendly atomsphere and great food at A Broa.

Whilst it is off the main Marina, it is well worth searching for (behind the Guiness Pub).

Myself, Fiance and 20 month old daughter visited, and was immediately made welcome - the most child friendly staff and atmosphere - they even brought a couple of toys to the table for the little one. Compared to the Marina, which we received distinctly average service and bearly better than avergae food - A Broa was a refreshing change. Food was good value for money as we eat and drank well for £40 (1st visit, no starters)...£60 with two very good starters inc Tiger Prawns.

Highly recommend the Fillet Steak on Hot Stones...

Whether with my baby daughter, more romantic meal or friends - this place I think delivers

We found the staff very pleasent and friendly at A broa and the complementary 'flaming sausages' were a nice touch but the mains we ordered were both quite bland and dried out which was dissappointing as the restaurant had been recommended to us.
Would probably give them another chance on our next visit.

Varied menu & food was great. Decided to try something different, so went for suckling pig and traditional portuguese lamb stew, both were delicious. Service was good and price was reasonable too.
