We had diner in this restaurant, outside on a bit windy terrace that evening in September 2013. Th e staff was friendly and helpful, the gorgeous portions swordfish were delicious, but funny enough the French fries were fried too short, so not crispy and goldbrown, but pale and unsubstantial. This was strange because the rest of the food was fine. It is a good place to gofor diner but check your French fries before you start eating.
A bit treacherous is the nonasked, but neverteheless served starter in the shell of a big crab, which showed on the bill for too many euro's for a non-ordered starter, that is not the way to treat your clients in a proper way.

This is one traditional Portuguese restaurant which is surely one of the best Sesimbra has. It's located by the sea. It's a shame there's a small road between the restaurant and the sea but it has a nice esplanade with sea view. The good about this restaurant is that you can eat there all day long (no matter the time), enjoying the sun and the sea and eating a good tasty meal without being expensive. Don't expect frills or sophisticated atmosphere though but don't forget it's a traditional by the sea restaurant with lots of sea food, fresh fish and great meat.
Just try the swordfish (so traditional in this region) with a special sauce of shrimps, the clamps are wonderful too. For the meat lovers as I am, try the steak on the hot stone.
for desert I can recommend the cookie and coffee cake. Yummy! Superb quality, chef and Staff!
