Very good but Christmas markets at home jut as good . Enjoyed ourselves though !

The Christmas market here is very similar to the other Christmas market in Volkenburg, they even had some of the the same vendors. I recommend going to ONE of them but not both.

Not worth the trip over crowded, too commercialized and full of tat mostly imported. Monschau and Aachen are much more in keeping with Christmas.

We visited the caves in spring with a Dutch tour group and found them so interesting that we returned to see the Christmas market there. Apart from the market which is a delight the added bonus was that with better lighting we could examine in more detail the pictures, carvings and delve deeper into the history. The chapel and the picture of the castle in the 1700's was of particular interest.
