I was with two other people that came away with the same opinion. The prawn cocktail was like nothing I have had in the past. The garnish was a wedge of melon with a beautiful rose and sprig of another flower. The whiskey cream cocktail sauce and prawns with cream on top were excellent. My companions had an excellent lobster Thermidor as a main and I had duck stuffed with plums and peanuts with a beautiful rich sauce. The lobster had a rich herb sauce to complement the traditional Thermidor. All mains had a parcel of vegetables and lovely fondant potatoes. The presentation was excellent of all the courses. Two of us had a superb rose parfait while a real piece of art arrived at the table that was the chocolate mousse. The mousse had many different textures to it and was not the ordinary experience you have elsewhere. Great personal service. I strongly recommend this to anyone visiting from Paris. This is great food that could teach other chefs that presentation is as important as great taste and quality produce.
