Only one staff member available on check-in when the shuttle bus arrived; just one other arrived later. No automatic access to Rewards Club room for Platinum guests - very poor

Thank you very much for taking the time to write your comments regarding your stay in our hotel. We have taken good note of your comments, and really appreciate your sincerity. This will certainly assist us in achieving the high standards of service we are aiming for.

We are sorry that upon arrival there was only 1 staffmember available. Although we always have 2 or 3 employees on shift in our Front Office, it might occur that 1 employee is occupied with something else.

Furthermore we do really appreciate that you are a loyal guest, and therefore a Platinum Priority Club Member of our hotel. Please let me explain why these changes in benefits are inevitable.

At first, as you maybe already are aware of, we are enhancing and renaming our loyalty programme to IHG Rewards Club since the first of July 2013. Benefits in all Crowne Plaza hotels should be similar and we can not longer offer use of the Club Lounge for free. A new world wide benefit will be the free high speed internet for Gold Elite and Platinum Elite members. Instead of per the first of July we are offering this per the first of May 2013.

At second our hotel has seen some recent changes such as upgrading our Club floor and Club Lounge to provide exclusive items to our guests staying on the 4th floor. With this we have seen a drastic uplift and high demand of the Club floor rooms. Therefore these rooms and Club Lounge access are unfortunately less available for complimentary upgrades.

At third it is our fullest intention to maintain and fulfill all loyalty member benefits and advantages wherever possible. There might be some other advantages you enjoy more besides free upgrade to a Club room and use of the Club Lounge. The new great promo of IHG to thank all our members for their loyalty and give the opportunity to use the high speed internet complimentary and reserve a Club room and access to the Club Lounge at a discounted rate of €25.

Again, I would wish to offer you my sincere apologies for the discomfort this new situation will cause you and we would like to welcome you again as a guest in our hotel in the future.

Very clean hotel, comfortable, quiet. Staff was excellent and friendly. Restaurant opens just early enough in the morning to have breakfast before an 9am flight. Dinner was was delicious in the hotel restaurant. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Netherlands, when flying back home.

Good business meeting hotel. Was a bit further from the airport than I expected; but not too much further. Personnel at hotel go out of their way to ensure you have what is needed; meeting rooms are well equiped. Wifi is a bit spotty, and badwidth was problematic for aspects of meetings that require online access.

Got in on a late evening flight. It was raining shuttle was at the stop but no driver. Waited 10 minutes finally driver showed up to open the bus and take us to our hotel.

Stayed on 4th floor room was one of the best that we stayed in on our trip. Very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was typical European buffet but had eggs cooked to order which was nice.

Problems on the return shuttle. It was supposed to leave on the hour and we were outside at 10 till with our luggage by the shuttle. On the hour a shuttle with logos from Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express showed up, dropped off a couple of people and left. Driver went inside and returned to the shuttle. 10 minutes later we went inside to inquire about when the shuttle will leave and wear informed that it had already left and the next one was 30 minutes after the hour. Turn out it was she Shuttle that drooped off the people.

Other than the shuttle incidents it was a very nice hotel.

Room Tip: Reserve the executive king with breakfast. Shuttle tickets are included.

I have been staying at this hotel on and on for some years. The hotel has undergone a renovation a couple of years a go and the 4th floor rooms are nice. Front desk staff is cordial and attentive.

On my last visit however I experienced that the shuttle service from the airport was terrible. The shuttle should come 2 times per hour, but after 60 min we never saw a shuttle, resulting in a full front assault on the single bus that came after 75min and when the driver only wanted to go to the holiday inn several passengers started a mutiny and after 7 minutes we arrived at our hotel.

Since this is the 1st touchpoint with the hotel is sort of puts a damper on things

You can not imagine that your travel is only about to sit on meetings and/or to travel to Amsterdam city center. No, if you walk like just 10 minutes you will find authentic Holland with windmill and a church was constructed to restaurant (and its dark Leffe :-) ) makes extra fun!

Room Tip: If you are not on corporate rate, but alone you have to upgrade it since the level of basic internet...

Very attentive staff made our stay and meeting a real pleasure.
Rooms were tidy and clean, the buffet was lovely presented and tasted the same.
Coffee break for our meeting was really creativ and displayed a good variety and quality of items.
Had no time to use the Pool, but heard from other attendes of the meeting that it is nice.
