The hotel staff shined at this hotel. They were extremely helpful and nice. The rooms were basic. Nothing to brag about. We were unsure if our sheets were unclean or stained, but we had brought our own linen just in case. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to the metro. I might not recommend this walk in the rain or winter with children. We managed with our 12 year old and 1 year old in the summer although it did rain off and on. The breakfast was included in our rate, so it was definitely worth it. I read other people paid 20€ extra for breakfast & I agree it is not worth it per person, but we had 3 adults and 2 children so the extra 20€ for 5 people is definitely worth it. We also had lunch and it was extremely overpriced for the quality. The foie gras burger was literally a regular burger with a hunk of duck liver, not the elegant upscale burger you expect. There was only 2 menu options for children. There are views of the Eiffel tower, but I wouldn't pay extra to get one of those rooms. I would stay again, but not utilize the restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view for free...do not pay for an upgrade!

Dear customer,

Thank you for your comments about your recent stay in our hotel. We regret that the catering did not give you complete satisfaction; by now the comments are generally very favorable, and we are sincerely sorry that you do not share this impression.

We would like to rectify wrong information concerning the rates you mentioned:
- There is no 20 € breakfast, rates are lower,
- There is no extra to pay for rooms with view on the Eiffel Tower.

Sincere greetings,

Jean-Michel Lebrun – General Manager

Had a quick night stop at this hotel while travelling to Paris for business. The hotel interiors are scenic and the room was clean and spacious. There is a restaurant available which unfortunately I had no time to try. Breakfast is decent but in my opinion not worth the approx €20 extra they ask for it. Convenient for reaching my offices and the Expo but a bit far from the Paris city center.

No fuzz hotel. The down side is that the bathroom amenities are so basic it only has one small piece of bar soap, one tube of shampoo and liquid soap and 2 small plastic cups (both also leaking!!!). Room is reasonable size. Bed and pillow are comfortable. Housekeeping not up to mark because some days (I stayed for 4 days) they did not replenish bottle water and make the bed!!! The room that I was in - A/C not cold enough. Breakfast choice is the same everyday!!!

This evening the fire alarm went off. There were NO announcements, I am not sure there is even an intercom. A few of us exited by the fire stairs, there was no hotel staff anywhere to be seen. Guests congregated outside the front door. There were no announcements. People just began to go back into the hotel. We asked for the manager to confirm we could re-enter. We asked him if there was a reason he didn't communicate to the guests what was happening. He just said "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." When we asked if there was a fire alarm procedure he said he asked a staff member to go upstairs and check. Weak! REALLY WEAK.
That was it. This hotel has no fire emergency plans. Beware!

Room Tip: Get a room near the fire exit. You're on your own if there's an emergency.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for taking time to give us your opinion about your stay in our hotel.
The fire alarm went off indeed untimely at 10pm on Monday the 12. The all team did look after to go around the different floors of the hotel in order to reassure the customers.
We are really sorry for this incident, and can understand your disappointment if you didn't got the words that would have avoided you to worry any more.
The safety commission took place last October, and the security requirements which are demanded for hotels were in accordance with the legislation.
Best regards,
Jean-Michel Lebrun
