We spent 3 nights in Jun 2014 in hotel Kyriad Paris Porte d'Orleans. I have to say it is very good quality-price ratio. Staff is very helpfull and always smiling. Rooms are small but clean. Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily, daily changing towels. Breakfast is really rich for this hotel category. Receptionists were also very helpfull (baggage storage, help with web check-in of return flight,...). So I can definitely recommend this hotel for each who is looking for clean hotel of avarege category with breakfast for reasonable price.

This is 3-star hotel, but i think it is not up tu the standards. Some member of the staff are really nice, but these are the only positive things that i can mention. The rooms are small, and we had bugs in the bed. The walls are thin, so you can hear every little noise. The breakfast is ok, and the location was good for us, but i do not recommend this hotel, only if you do not have other option.

Just as quoted above, the welcome smile is genuine, the beds have good mattresses, the metro is 5 minutes away, the price is competitive. It is hard to beat the kyriad if your target is the southern part of Paris and your budget is lean

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the side street, not the main street

Stayed here for the weekend and it was part of a cheap deal so i wasnt expecting much. Its fairly as you expect, its a basic hotel, small room with tv, tea and coffee, bathroom hair dryer soap etc. was a very amall room, smaller than what the pics look but did the job as it was really just a base for us to stay while we saw paris.

Very close to the metro and good links into town. Be careful though dont leave it too late to eat dinner, our first night we didnt get back til after 11, and the only restaurants open were for just drinks. (there is a subway shop it porte d'orleans 5 mins down the roadif you get stuck like we did)

The second night we ate at a restaurant near the metro thats not on trip advisor or any maps. Its directly opposite the station and the town hall, name begins with a Q. We looked at the menus of didferent ones before we picked this one. It is extremely reasonably priced compared to the well rated ones on here, but its not grubby or small like other reasonable priced ones in the area.

Really great food, meal was perfect, service was great and was obviously a popular restaurant. Had 2 main meals 2 drinks a dessert and a coffee, came to just under 50 euros.

The buffet breakfast is very basic, breads, couple of pastries, cereal yogurt and fruit, but enough to fill you up

The beds are extremely soft, not great if you have a bad back?

And no-one told us, either booking through wowcher, the travel company or the hotel at check in that there is city tax, only found out at checkout. 2 euro each paid cash.
