This was an interesting apartment we stayed in. The location and views from this place are pretty amazing. Also not too many steps leading to the apartment as seems the case in much of Camogli. We were a short walk to shops, train etc which was wonderful. The apartment was also well equipped and Gianna was very friendly. Unfortunately a few significant disappointments for us... The TV was broken so we couldn't watch anything for our weeks stay which included DVD's. When I mentioned this to the manager I was told that I could call the service man but there's no satellite anyway. I felt this should not have been our problem. Camogli gets stinking hot which requires windows and shutters to be closed, this was a problem as mentioned by another person because of the overriding smell of mustiness probably from water damage in the building. The sofas were also very uncomfortable. Please note also that if you want wifi it is an extra cost ~€30 for the week. I don't want to sound too harsh but this was the reality for us. It is a lovely apartment but these things really need addressing as they can really put a dampener on your holiday!
We stayed at Sea View Appartement during a view days around new year. We liked the location near the harbour and the sea front very much, perfectly situated in the middle of the lovely villiage of Camogli an its shops. Since the weather was very sunny und quite warm during daytime we could even enjoy the great terrace on the upper flor. Unfortunately due to heavy rainfalls during autumn the appartement was a bit moist and smelly. The furniture and kitchen equipment would need an update. Probably the appartement would be great during the warm season.
Booking und communicaton with the owner were fast without any problems and the local assistance round the corner was really great. We could pass anytime at Annaritas shop and she helped us so very friendly whenever she could. Thank you very much.
This beautiful apartment overlooks a working fisherman's harbor. The views are wonderful, and the sounds make you feel like you are truly away, unless you fish for a living. The town of Camogli is between Genoa and Cinque Terra. Both are accessable by train, the latter by ferry as well. Camogli has everything you need including shops, restaurants, and hiking trails. It does not (yet) have too many American tourists as does Cinque Terra. A visit to Cinque Terra felt like visiting Disneyland on a Saturday in the summer. No so in Camogli. You should know that Camogli is on a hill and there are many steps and hills everywhere. Also, parking is not obvious. The apartment is also 2 stories and is totally comfortable and well equipped.
