A little rough around the edges (air con definitely needed servicing - it worked well but sounded like it may explode, loose fixings). However, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, really clean throughout. Has beautiful garden/pool and loungers with a bar all day that serves a great range of food and drink. The hotel is small enough that it isn’t busy or loud - perfect for us to chill and walking distance to all the local amenities.

A lovely quaint hotel with a quiet atmosphere, ideal for couples.
My wife and I spent 3 nights there and spent 2 days relaxing by the pool. All very clean, nice breakfast and really friendly staff.
The hotel is out of the way of the main tourist hotels but close enough to walk down to the town centre for drinks, food and the lake front in 10 minutes.

We had a pool level room, it was nice and spacious but our only negative was the bed, it was quite hard and uncomfortable, aside from that we would definitely go back.

We stayed here for two nights in September. A lovely hotel with friendly staff and a good breakfast. We had a great view and the balcony was delightful. Please note however, the location given on Expedia is not accurate, the hotel is slightly further up the hill round the corner from where it is shown. This is not a problem but will help you to find it.

The first night we arrived, we had a small problem as we had specifically requested - and our request was approved- two ground floor rooms next to each other. The hotel manager solved the problem by quickly offering us the first night for free.
The accomodation itself was quite good; relatively new clean and well maintained. In our opinion, no need for the jacuzzi-type showers that seem hard to maintain and not really straight forward to use (but it's just an opinion). We did not stay in the main building but in the building down the road, which has an own private swimming pool (extremely well maintained). As two families travelling together with 4 kids, being able to sit in our terrase with quick access to the rooms while being able to keep an eye on our kids bathing, made our holiday (and theirs!). The pool was never overcrowded and our kids enjoyed it to the maximum every single day.
The staff was very competent and friendly, and were able to manage to communicate in German & English aside of course from Italian, just as the managers. The fact that one of us spoke Italian also helped the otherwise impeccable staff nehaviour and friendliness, in all very professional.
Foodwise, breakfast was quite good -no lunch is really offered- and there is a fantastic pizzeria literally 25m away from the main building, and a few -also great restaurants- nearby. Once you go downtown the quality of the food decreases a bit as the harbour area is 100% focused on tourists.
The town itself is quite nice and pitoresque, and well communicated by boat to many other locations on the lakeside. A visit to Malcesine and it's medieval castle is a must! Any trip by car will set you back at least 30 min to leave the lake side, either towards Riva del Garda (north of the lake) and 1h just to reach the highway to go to Milan (55kms away). Verona is also worth it but it's 1h1/2 drive from Limone (just short of 100kms away)
To summarize; for two families travelling together with 4 kids aged 3 to 6, we had the perfect set up at Villa Elite, so we will be back!
