We visited here as part of an all inclusive package through Tui. From the moment we got there, we knew many of the past reviews were accurate. We were greeted by a couple of members of staff wearing scruffy, dirty looking hoodies with a quickly set up table to offer us pineapple juice, water or Prosecco. But the presentation was very cheap and the pineapple juice was extremely unpleasant! The reception staff were pleasant and our luggage was taken away to be delivered to our room. We got checked in and made our way to our room in a building up the hill from the main reception building - this was fine for us, but would not be ideal for anybody with mobility issues, the hill is very steep! We had a terrace room, which was fine, clean, but quite shabby. The tiles around the bath had a but of mould, but otherwise clean. We waited 40 minutes for our luggage to be brought to us - considering we'd seen it taken away in a vehicle, I'm not sure what they were doing with it between taking it and delivering it, there were no other guests checking in when we were. We took a walk into town, rather than getting the bus, which was very manageable and enjoyable. Limone is a very pretty town. We came back and went for dinner, which as we arrived after 2.00pm, was the first...We visited here as part of an all inclusive package through Tui. We took a walk into town, rather than getting the bus, which was very manageable and enjoyable. Limone is a very pretty town. We came back and went for dinner, which as we arrived after 2.00pm, was the first opportunity we'd had since our breakfast before our flight that morning, to have something to eat. Immediately I realised as I went to get a drink (all self service) that they had no sugar-free options. As a type 1 diabetic I was very disappointed by this! So I only had water for the week - not what I'd hoped for. Dinner was okay - though lots of queues and there are set meal settings (6.10 or 7.15), I think it would keep the queues at bay if they allowed you to turn up anytime between 6.10 and 8.15. Over the week there was a variety of main options, a pasta option and salad/meats. The pasta option was always excellent. The other meals could be a bit hit or miss, but there was always something decent. The next morning when we went for breakfast there was the standard cooked breakfast items, cereals and kiwi and yoghurt and some cakes. The the hash browns were always freezing cold. The scrambled egg appeared to be powdered scrambled egg, which was unplesasant! Eventually we only had kiwi at breakfast. Lunch could be missed. We only went a few times, and it was generally fine. We used the indoor pool once, it was nice enough as were the jacuzzis. The sauna didn't open until 3pm, so we never got to use that. It was too cold to use the outdoor pool, but it looked nice. There was no spa as advertised. We used the gym once and the equipment was extremely old and outdated and some of it not working properly - the stepper is dangerous.
Overall, I would discourage anybody from considering booking a holiday at this hotel.More
