“breathtaking!”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

Breathtaking views towards the tsambika beach, worth visiting. You have to climb 300 steps but the total time to the top is not that much as the steps are wide and not very steep. It took us 10-15 with a moderate tempo and a couple of stops to chill.

on our cruise we stay in many ports and visited quiite a ew in istanbul, izmir and bodrum, but on the greek side we had a private tour and a personal guide who took us to the church, it a small church but stunning inside and when the sun is at the right angle on the windows the light and colour inside are beautiful. it was a religious estival day and busy when we went would definately go again to spend more time

“Well worth a look - fabulous murals”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

Truly spectacular murals but be aware that naked flesh is not allowed and the charge is for the museum, not the church. The ladies wont tell you this, bless' em!

“Gorgeous little gem of a church”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

This tiny little Byzantine church is situated in one of the narrow lanes of the village of Lindos, behind a wooden door which leads into a courtyard. Its walls inside are completely covered with beautiful religious paintings in the Byzantine style, with two lovely silver Ikons flanking the altar. No photography is permitted inside the church, but postcards of it are easily available in the village. If visiting, please remember that legs must be covered (shawls are available to do this) as it is a "working" church.
