Villa Kleovoulini exceeded all of our expectations. The villa was well positioned, being close to the shops, bars and restaurants (although the thick walls mean that once inside you wouldn't know it).
The villa had everything we needed and was wonderfully clean. The owners made us feel very welcome and their kindness contributed towards making our holiday one of the best we have ever had.
This is a historic Lindian villa which the owners have artistically restored and modernised without sacrificing its character. It is close to shops, restaurants and bars and yet, thanks to traditional thick walls, not at all noisy inside: a wonderful combination of tranquility and convenience. The beach and the historic sites of Lindos are also a short walk (or donkey ride) away and there is an internet cafe a few yards from the property.
An external staircase leads from the courtyard, with its shady orange tree, to the roof terrace and upstairs bedroom which has an en-suite bathroom, giving a degree of independence to a teenager, nanny or grandparent (if reasonably nimble). All bedrooms and the lounge/diner are air conditioned.
Effie and her family were most welcoming and accommodating. They are to be congratulated on making this villa into a fantastic holiday home which we would recommend without hesitation to other families or couples.
