Go into the narrow little streets and you will find a maze of little shops where you will find hundreds of bargains and souveniers to bring home for family and friends and for yourself just to remember your time there,in some shops you can even book cheap apartments/villas from the shopkeepers excellent rates.nobody can come away from Lindos completely happy and relaxed as well as shopped out,you must go and enjoy.

We were staying nearer Rhodes town, and only ventured to Lindos after a local insisting how beautiful it is! It was well worth the drive!!

The village is like a maze, you walk through lots of tiny, white walled streets that have opened their doors to sell gifts and local produce - it's definitely aimed at the tourists in the evening. You can walk for ages taking in the great atmosphere! There are plenty of restaurants and cafés, ice cream shops and bars, so you can be set for the evening!

Like I said, it's worth a trip!

10 degrees hotter than the other side of the island, lots of shops and bars. You can walk to the Acropolis brilliant views from the top. There are small streets full of shops and you can definitly pick up some bargains.

Lindos is nice, traditional city which does not seem to be a "tourist trap". There are lot of restaurants and nice traditional shops. I suggest to avoid visiting Lindos village during the day as there are lot of tourists unlike in the evening when it's more quiet and the bus and boat trips are back to their hotels...

As one of us had not made it to the acropolis we went back to try again. It was the end of the season so it was not crowded and we had it all to ourselves. The shops were all looking to make the last sale of the year so we got good bargains. We had plenty of time to stroll around leisurely and really enjoy it.
