“It's a small but beautiful island in Rhodes”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

I was told this island by my Greek friends and it was very nice to visit. There are many historic sites and if you come up to the top of the island, the view is very nice.I felt like I was in the town at the Middle age. No touts were around. Orange juice was really fresh and crepe and pizza bread(?) were good compared to the price.

“Beautiful location for a weeks holiday in the sunshine.”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

The cleanliness, the people, the food, the beaches, the shops were all great.
The steep hill into the village can get to your legs after a weeks stint, twice a day - just means you can eat more and wear it off!!

“Lindos donkeys”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

A lovely place to visit or stay in, but please don't take a donkey ride to the acropolis. It is both sad and shocking to see the way the donkeys are treated. We also saw those not in use tied up outside the village all day with no access to drink or shade. Have the courage to speak to the donkey owners about the welfare of their animals (and of their dogs and cats too for that matter) and help them to understand that if they treated their animals better it would benefit their business.

“Beautiful place, a must visit.”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

Our first visit to Rhodes and we loved it. Lots of bars and restaurants, shops down narrow streets etc etc.
For eating out we tried a different restaurant each night and to be honest there isn't much to choose between them, all are about the same price bracket and have traditional food, a good enough way to choose which one to go into is if you like the guy trying to lure you in! I'm sure people have their favourites, ours was 'To Kamapiko', which had beautiful stone floors, little kittens and fantastic food.
Don't agonise over too many reviews, just go and enjoy....

“What a village!!!!”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

Just love it here. We stay in the village and couldn't imagine staying outside of it. I fully understand the daily visitors stating that it's too hot, too crowded etc., but at night it's a different story. Just ambling about in the early evening, finding little hidden corners, having a drink while people watching and then going for a lovely meal. While we were there, on 27th September was world tourism day and in the evening there was Greek dancing in the square. It was lovely. What more could you ask for? Magical.
