“Best Town In Greece”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

We think this is the best city in the Greek Islands. it has beautiful vine covered walkways, a wonderful acropolis, the white homes, local artisans and without the Santorini glitz. Yes, there are plenty of tourists, but this place has charm,

“White washed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

Beautiful white washd building, free of all traffic. The one problem is the volume of people passing through. Do try and go very early or late in the evening. It an get very busy in the heat of midday.

“Beautiful old Village, lots of history & shops.”

Picture postcard Greek village. Unspoiled and great fun to explore the many tiny streets. Lots of shops and fabulous roof-top restaurants

A lovely trip along the coast to Lindos, if you have mobility problems not the trip for you as a very steep hill to walk to the village, a very relaxed and pretty village

“Lindos Village & Koki Studios”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013

Just returned from 2 glorious weeks in Lindos after a 3 year absence.

Not much changed in the village at all other than the addition of a couple of new shops/venues and the closure of a few favourites.

60s Bar closed and no sign of life around it. Antika was closed but now re-opened with not a lot of changes other than the bar is on the other side of the pub. Nonas Bakery is a new addition to the village centre and comes highly recommended. Lindos Sun Tours has gone and has been replaced by a shop selling frozen yogurts.

Stayed in the Koki Studios, booked via Jet2, and cant recommend them highly enough. Room number 9 had a large double and one single bed and was very comfortable for 2 adults. Bathroom was very modern with a continous supply of hot water. Kitchen was small however it did include that very elusive Lindos kitchen implement - a toaster. Views from Koki are enough to keep you sitting on the balcony all day. Very friendly owner and cleaner. They were considerate to late night transfers and as no one was booked into the studio when we left we were able to have a late check out for no extra charge.

Donkeys were as usual doing a roaring trade however as the walk from Koki into the village was on a main donkey route it could get a little messy & smelly at times but the mess was cleaned up very quickly.

Food was as usual very good and found that some of the restaurants have gone slightly more Greek than I remembered, standards were very high with Delight being my favourite for food and friendliness.

Sunbeds still 8e a day (including brolly). Jack Daniels & coke averaging 6e and vodka & coke averaging 5e, most cocktails 6e.
