“Absolutely loved it !!!”

This was a lovely hotel, being quite small was a benefit as all the staff were friendly and helpful. No matter what time of day someone was on duty and ready to assist with a smile. The lady with the glasses was especially nice.
The room was basic but always kept very clean. The maids came daily and we didn't have any complaints. The only small negative I would say about the room was regarding the fridge, it was small but an adequate size, the problem with it was the noise. It would periodically come on and off throughout the night but it was something we got used to. There was air conditioning in the room which was a big bonus, kept us cool and we didn't have to have the balcony doors open therefore no bugs in the room!
The pool is really nice, plenty of sunbeds and there is a pool bar which does food nearby. The lady who works here is really nice and helpful, and during our stay there often brought out cold flannels or crushed ice drinks to cool everyone down.
The location of the hotel is great. It's just outside of Lindos so is ideal if you don't want to be in the heart of things but is close enough to walk to. There is a path up a hill to Lindos town which takes about 25 minutes to walk. Some of the reviews say less time than this but realistically with the heat it does take about 25 minutes. If you don't fancy walking there is a bus which is fairly cheap or the hotel staff will call a cab for you.
Overall we couldn't fault this holiday. Location was brilliant, staff were lovely, and it couldn't have been any more relaxing. This was our first holiday together and we were so happy with the choice we made, we would definitely go back!

Room Tip: Great views from room 221!

We recently stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was quiet and relaxing and perfect if you want peace and quiet. The staff are superb and very friendly. The hotel itself is lovely and very clean. The pool is fabulous but is all one depth of 1.5m so not really suitable for children. There are also no play areas for children. I loved the lay out of the rooms and the beautiful plants and trees. We had apricots falling off trees and there was even lemon trees.
It is about a 25minute walk (some of it uphill) to Lindos but there is a bus stop outside that will take you to Lindos or Pefkos the other way. If you order a taxi they will charge you 8 euros as they charge to pick you up from the hotel. If you get a taxi home from Lindos squre then it will cost you 6 euros.

I do not want to sound negative because there were far more positives than negatives about this hotel but we did have a couple of niggles which is why I wont give it 5 stars.

We stayed in room 501 which was one of 4 attached rooms they call "the bungalow" in a row that overlooked the pool area. These rooms do not appear to have been updated like some of the other rooms. We only became aware of this after we extended our checkout on our last day and were moved to a different room. It was only then that I realised that our bathroom was shabby and had not been updated with the new style of freestanding sink unit and shower base. The shower base in room 501 was so tiny and shallow that we had to leave the shower curtain open which meant that the water flowed onto the floor and into a drain in the middle of the floor. The floor was then wet and we could only get it dry by mopping with a towel.
Our room contained a double bed, fridge and air conditioning and when the electric key thing was removed it turned off both the air con and fridge so we had to remove it from our key and leave permanently in. My friends fridge stayed on without the key thing.
These four "bungalow" rooms were on their own and completley bare of any shrubbery or flowers which meant no privacy on the patio area from your neighbours who were just sat on the other side of the low wall! Most of the other rooms had beautiful flowers growing around balconys and private patio areas. The pool area never got busy or noisy but the sun beds are just so hard and uncomfortable. Most people were using their pillows off their beds to get some comfort! The food was a little dissappointing. Most meals were luke warm and when breakfast choices ran out they did not seem to be re plenished. We only ate at the hotel in the evenings 4 times in 10 days due to the food being cool. There is also a smell of drains that drifts up from by the outside bar area so the outside patio area could be a bit smelly.
Also be warned .... the owners have a big old black dog that lives on the complex. It runs around free at times and they do not appear to chain it up. I was told by an elderly couple that her husband had been fussing the dog and when he stopped it bit him on the leg and he had to go to hospital and have it dressed and have an injection for it. He was clearly wearing a dressing. And apparently this was the 2nd person that had been bitten by it. Most of the time the dog seems to be kept away from public areas but on our last day I witnessed it running free and it messed on the grass by the pool. I of course reported this to the staff who dealt with it immediately.
So all in all - lovely hotel, lovely staff, quiet and relaxing. But some rooms better than others, uncomfortable sun beds, food not brilliant and a nasty old bad tempered dog!

I stayed here for 4 nights in June. You're about 20 minutes out of lindos on the road to Pefkos. It's a walk uphill, but there is a good path, and best of all, coming home, you're walking down hill! There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel if you don't fancy the walk.

I had a fantastic room facing the sea (and road, which was a persistent but not obtrusive background noise) which was basically furnished but spacious and comfortable. Air conditioning and the fridge are included in the cost. My bathroom had recently been refurbished by the looks of it and this was very nice - a great shower (with shower curtain!).

The highlight of the stay for me was the fantastic pool - a really generous size and very clean. I could have spent a lot longer there! there;s a pool bar there as well, so they have thought of pretty much everything to deter you from leaving the hotel, and to be honest, it was a temptation!

breakfast has a good basic selection of yoghurt, fruits and pastries etc. I didn't have the evening meal which seems to be part of the price - i went into Lindos instead.

All in all a really nice place to stay, friendly, well looked after and comfortable.

My husband and I have just rerurnerd from the lindos sun. We will not be staying in any more large noisy hotels again, always a small and friendly after staying here. It is a small very friendly hotel with excellent staff, espoecially marina at pool bar. I It is kept spotlessly clean and a good choice of food (not very hot though).Lindos is a lovely busy little town but not as the brochure states a 15 min walk more like 30 mins and all uphill, so catch the bus or taxi.I have two niggles one I am only 5 ft so could not stand in the pool as their is no shallow end at all it is all 1.5 metres which is fine if you are a swimmer. The other problem is there are no mattresses on the sunbeds and they are very hard also flat the backs do not come up feel they need to address this a.s.a.p. but other than that We woild highly recommend this little gem.

Room Tip: A garden room is fine but above has a view of sea

my wife and i stayed here for 11 days and found everything we needed for our stay was here, the food was buffet style and for a 40 room hotel was suprisingly varied.i liked the idea of no televisions in the rooms and any music was background low key.someone did bring there ipod round the pool and not use there ear plugs, but i supose you will always get one.we were put in one of 4 small rooms which are not of the same standard as the rest of the hotel but were moved the next day when one was available, all, the staff were very helpful and conciderate,we did hire a car wich we would not normaly do,but there are bus stops outside and lindos is easily walkable for the able bodied, otherwise a taxi into town was only 5 euos.pefki the other way was walkable but there is a steep hill to negotiate and no path a lot of the way.for those who like a beach there are a few in lindos and though we never used them they looked good with what looked like safe swimming.if i was looking to find fault i would only say that although the pool is large and new for anybody under six foot (like my wife) who likes to feel the bottom they might be dissapointed the pool seems to be all one depth.the other thing is the sun beds, there is no shortage but apart from two or three old ones they are none adjustable flat plastic with no cusions so for aged bones like mine they were a no no.but i will be suprised my what i saw of theteam they have there if it is not put right.well thats about it,so go and enjoy.p.s take a terrace

Well what can I say about this little hotel other than it is just brilliant.
If you want a large hotel with entertainment etc then this hotel will not be for you, but if you want a small hotel that is super friendly, very clean, in an excellent location with great food then this is for you and how.
The hotel has had a change of management and has been transformed into a smart, but basic hotel, don't expect huge rooms with a TV, but you will get a great pool, the friendliest of staff and a lovely peaceful and relaxing time.
The guests were a good mix of nationalities and all were very friendly.
You can eat in the restaurant or out on the terrace overlooking the sea for both breakfast and dinner. The bar is good and the wine very reasonable.
There is also a bar by the pool and is a great place to buy a snack for lunch, and a good price too.
This isn't the best hotel for small children as there isn't a childrens pool, the hotel is near a busy road and there quite a few steps.
There is a bit of a walk into town, uphill but not arduous and of course with great views.
Lindos is the best town on the island, quaint and clean, but quite busy at times with bus loads of visitors, there are good restaurants and many snack bars etc, so being a little way out was perfect.
This is the first holiday that we could easily have stayed for another week, even though we were there for a fortnight.

Room Tip: The first floor rooms have the best views

Stayed 2nd week of may excellent welcome at reception from Margarita. Room had a sea view and was very clean and spacious.Breakfast was good choice and plenty of it, dinner was buffet and could have been better with more greek choice.A 20 minute walk into Lindos along a well lit footpath meant the hotel was well situated and quiet.I would choose this hotel again if ever we stayed in Lindos again.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a sea view.
