I have been here two times in a week. The place is wonderful, full of soft lighting and flowers. Plates were awesome, greek housewine was delicious and waiters were too.

Lovely...

This is our second visit to Lindos this year and this restaurant just keeps getting better! We visited 3 times during our week in Lindos and we always had a fabulous meal and were made to feel so welcome by Dimitris and Anna. Our favourite dishes were the Stifado, the seafood pasta, calamari and the steak! And if you get the chance please try the chocolate fondant, it's amazing! The restaurant has a beautiful courtyard and a pretty roof terrace with fantastic views of the Acropolis. This is one you do not want to miss! its a class act, in our view the best in Lindos! We can't wait to go back and see the team next year!

Visited this restaurant early in our visit. Not the best location compared to many but more than made up by the friendly service and good food. Traditional Greek restaurant offering home cooked food and good value house wine......offered a free glass of wine together with an "on the house" liqueur......will return.

Since our first visit to Lindos in 2001 the Odyssia has always been one of our favourites, and when we returned to the village for the 13th time in June 2013 we were delighted to find that it had improved once again and became our firm favourite. When we returned in August we wondered if it would still be as good, and we couldn't wait to find out.

I'm delighted to say that it isn't as good as it was in June - it is even better! This is a restaurant that constantly strives to improve, listening to its customers and changing things, wanting to get better and better, and it is now unbelievably good. Dimitris (the head waiter) and his wife Anna are delightful and keep the place running smoothly, and somewhere in the building the chef works wonders with the food.

It's a beautiful restaurant, located on the main drag through Lindos next to Pals Bar, and once you have stepped through the door you are in a delightful courtyard, a lemon tree growing to your left on a raised platform (it's actually really nice to have a table down there - don't just dash straight to the rooftop!) and a spectacular pink and white bougainvillea climbing the walls in front of you. The steps to the roof are adorned with candles in round metal cages, and before you reach the highest level there is a long "bridge" level with tables overlooking the courtyard and the bougainvillea, and this is actually our favourite place to sit in the restaurant.

The menu has an excellent choice of dishes and for me the pick of the lot has to be "lamb in the oven", a lamb shank served on a bed of mashed potato with carrots, courgettes and tomatoes. It is sublime, beautifully cooked, falling off the bone and melting in the mouth. The presentation is excellent too, and for a few seconds you feel compelled to just look at it, before the urge to devour the lot becomes too great. The kleftiko is also superb, served in a paper parcel, the meat beautifully cooked, potatoes and vegetables cooked alongside in the bag. I ate so much lamb at the Odyssia that Dimitris once called me "Mr Lamb" which seemed appropriate :-)

While we were in Lindos it was my girlfriend's birthday and we booked a table at Odyssia. We arrived and found that Dimitris had given us a table on the highest floor, overlooking the Acropolis and the village, and on the table there was a small vase of flowers and a candle - nobody else had this. We ordered our meals, and after we had enjoyed the main courses Dimitris and Anna came over with a large plate, on which were three desserts - a bowl of ice cream, a strawberry cheesecake, and a lovely white blancmange-like dish - with sparklers in the cheesecake, and they both stepped closer and quietly sang the Greek version of "happy birthday" to her, so quietly I don't think anyone else could hear. It was a lovely gesture and very touching. I just wish I'd had my birthday there in June when we'd been in Lindos!

When the time came to leave Lindos we were both sorry to say goodbye to Dimitris and Anna, but we promised we'd be back in 2014. They're a lovely couple and they run a wonderful restaurant. My only criticism is that I can't eat there more often as it is a little too far from where I live here in Manchester.

An amazing place, run by fantastic people. Thank you, Dimitris and Anna, and we'll see you next year. Love from Pete & Louise xx

This is one of the classier dining options in Lindos but without a huge price tag attached but aside from the excellent prices and huge portions, there is a brief but great wine list here and perhaps the best views of the Acropolis in all of Lindos. Do make sure you arrive early to get the very top floor and the best views of the town and the sun setting.

It's also a stylishly designed place with decor that is clean, simple and chic with a nice attention to detail.

One of the best places to eat in Lindos.
