“Glorious setting of Navarone Bay, stylish Resort”
Reviewed June 28, 2010

Stayed with a party of 16 for the marriage of friends.
Accommodation in a suite (room) with pool highly recommend. Flight to Rhodes over 3
hours late, sandwich left in fridge on a complimentary basis.
Dinner held for 20 guests in Elements Restaurant after the marriable ceremony at a Greek Orthodox chapel overlooking St. Paul's Bay. Tastefully decorated, delicious 4-course dinner and in a most glorious setting. Dancing followed dinner in the private restaurant.
Cuisine throughout was of a very very high standard.
Rooms tastefully appointed with large bathrooms, comprising bath, large rain shower cubicle.
Cabanas on the beach a delight to protect from the strong sunlight but still enjoying a warm breeze.

We booked a pool room via Olympic and were not sure what to expect as when we booked the hotel wasnt open yet. We arrived and the place was just like the glossy brochure.

There are 1or2 things still not open (spa and gym) but we didnt mind this.

The luxury hotel lives up to its 5 star status and they have obviously spent a lot of money on getting the fittings right and choosing quality materials and objet d'art which still appear almost on a daily basis.
The service and food is superb (we were on half board) and you could exchange dinner for lunch if you asked. We did this once so that we could eat at a Lindos tarverna. The walk into Lindos would be hot and hilly (about 45 mins) so we took a cab at 5-7euros.
The prices of wine, drinks and mini-bar are high (it is a 5 star) so take care if you have a budget.

Our room was serviced and the sheets changed daily + floors and wet/bathroom kept immaculately clean.

We did have a problem one evening with cold food but it was quickly rectified and we took advantage of a 30% discount as recompense in the gourmet restaurant. This restaurant, which opened whilst we were there served stunning food and a knowledgeable hotel wine expert helped us with a wine selection to complement the meal. I couldnt believe the flavours packed into my foie grois starter followed by an excellent lobster. The gourmet prices are high but you can use a dinner allowance to go towards the cost.

Service was generally excellent and special mentions to the gorgeous Adelena (Hostesss) and the Maitre'D in the main restaurant who make you feel special and very welcome. There are some staff who seem unsure what to do and need direction but we were sure this would be ironed out with more experience. Serive tended to be better on the outside of the main restaurant rather than inside.

We tended to have some lunch at the pool restaurant at around 2pm and the service from Tsabika and Vaseleia was friendly and attentive. Try their daily prepared Moussaka it was authentic and delicious.

We would have loved to extend our stay as we found it a completely relaxing place and it catered for mainly adult clientele; which is what we wanted.
This is not a hotel/resort for families as no child facilities such as clubs, games etc. are offered. But this suited us fine and made for a peaceful week.

Highly recommended.

I am still resident, last day of 14.

The report by "mixed feelings" I will respond to when I am home, not here in the AquaGrand enjoying fantastic weather.

THIS IS A BRAND NEW HOTEL, allowances must be made for this, we knew before we came, but it is not a building site, it is a finished Luxury Hotel with the final finishes taking place, and indeed not all facilities are up and running, allowances because what is operational is pure luxury.

Indeed the Hotel is in its sixth week, allowances must be made for this, I have 7 seperate postings to make on my return to UK.

Those interested watch for my posts.

I stayed at the aquagrand with a large group of my family for the week of my brothers wedding. The hotel was beautiful, very stylish. The rooms were very spacious and again decorated to a high standard. The food in the restaurant was amazing, wide variety and delicious. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was great. The views from the hotel over the bay were stunning. Overall an amazing hotel and a perfect week.

Just spent a very enjoyable and relaxing week in the Aquagrand. The Hotel opened on 1st May, 2010. The design of the Hotel is superb - no more than 2 floors high - with attractive stonework and rooms furnished to a very high standard. It has a fabulous pool with towels laid out every morning on all the sunloungers ready to catch the day's rays!
The rooms are very spacious, ours had its own private pool and we were not disappointed. The bedding is pristine with a choice of pillows and state of the art air conditioning with its own remote control.
We booked half board. Only the main restaurant was open (the a la carte will be ready in a week or so) but the food was good along with the service. Adalena, the very attractive and smart restaurant hostess, along with Tony, one of the retaurant waiters who was a real character, looked after us well and nothing was too much trouble for them. All the hotel staff, including the general manager, who was frequently seen walking around checking the guests were happy, were also very helpful. OK, the Spa and shop weren't open during our stay (probably are by now) but that didn't prevent us from having a very enjoyable stay at this magnificent hotel.

A great place to have relaxed and perfekt days!

Very nice architecture and high level of style!

So nice to have dinner every night... from the beginning, when you get your table by the hostess, the meal (perfect main course served!), the wine and the view over the pool to the sea!

A nice bar terrasse, good drinks from the bar and a lot of other nice places in the whole hotel!

When it will be finish in a few month and then with a nice spa, a gym and the confrerence rooms a perfekt place!

We will come back!
