If you want a really relaxing holiday just for adults, book at the Lindos Blu, it's wonderful. So calm and peaceful. Excellent location. The staff are fantastic always smiling and very helpful obviously employed because of their professionalism. Attention to detail has got to be mentioned because this is something they excel in at the Lindos Blu.The perfect place to recharge your batteries! If someone asked me if I would return, my answer would be..... yes, without hesitation!

Stayed here in June 2012 with my wife. Everything about the hotel was top class! Service and food was outstanding! No need to look for other restaurants so we had dinner at the hotel every night. Actually we got our last dinner for free, because we used the reastaurant every evening the waiter told us. That was a surprice.! Views from the room and throughout hotel are amazing! We decided we will definitely come back later. We stayed at the Suite Alkyone with a privat pool. The pool was 27 degrees in late June 2012 so don't worry it was the best and very-very private located pool we ever had. The staff was allways kind and doing their best without any hesitation. Thanks to the maids and the waiters we will meet again. Sure.! However please note that NO Children are allowed so no noise from kids. My wifes father got himself a double room but it was nothing compaired to the Junier Suite.! This is a real 5 star hotel no doubt.! You will struggle to find a better hotel of its kind in Europe.

Room Tip: Get the Junier Suite named Alkyone if possible. You won't regret that choise. It has an exellent...

When we were in Skiathos I overheard someone telling another guest about an amazing hotel called the Lindos Blu and how fantastic it was in fact the best small hotel that they had stayed at!

We researched it and found out that so many other people shared this view so we booked a holiday through Thomsons on a bed and breakfast basis.

On arrival we were greeted with such warmth and offered a glass of champagne on the terrace which had amazing views over the sea.

Our suite was absolutely fantastic with views across the sea from our bathroom! The hotel has an amazing ambience reflected by the very calming decor. The chrome and glass throughout the hotel provide amazing vistas and the cleanliness of the hotel was superb.

We only booked on a bed and breakfast basis but the food was beautiful and the dining terrace again provided fantastic views.

I think what impressed me most was the level of customer service, which was second to none and this sentiment was shared by other people that we met during our stay. Have already recommended it to a lot of people!

Room Tip: All the rooms seem to have a good view so I don't think anyone can go wrong but the suites are b...

Wanting to visit Lindos in Rhodes, we booked this holiday based on the fantastic reviews/photos on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. We booked with Thomson and on arrival to the hotel we were met by the porter who took our cases for us, we were then offered a refreshment on the terrace, where we were met with a beautiful view. Once the very friendly check-in was complete we were taken to our room (not just pointed in the general direction). En-route to the room we were informed of where the pools, bar, quiet area and restaurants were located. Also the lifts to the beach.

Our room D241 (standard) was really nice, again everything was explained to us, CD Player, Air Con, lights, whirlpool, volume for bathroom etc. There was also a fresh fruit selection, complimentary water and a bottle of wine. The bed was so comfy and if we could have purchased the pillows we would have done!

Food at the hotel was lovely (we ate in the restaurant at the hotel on one night and the food was nice enough, maybe a little pricey 35 euros per person (fixed price). Breakfasts were something else, every taste as far as I could see was catered for - from Rice Crispies to Champagne and Canapes. We ordered room service on our last night - again not disappointed, it was glorious, wish we had done this every night!

The beach at the Lindos Blu is lovely, some people commented about the hotel being adults only but then sharing the beach with the Lindos Mare that allow children was a problem. Personally I did not find this a problem, whilst it was busy it was still quiet, there were children on the beach from the Lindos Mare, but like I said the beach was not overcrowded so it was a great mixture and I certainly didn't experience any screaming children. The waiter service was superb although I couldn't help think a flag system for when you want to order is needed as you basically had to either be like a Meerkat to get the waiters attention or run after him!

We got a taxi into Lindos a couple of times (some people say it is walk able) if you want a near death workout / hike then go for it, but I would recommend hiring a car or getting a taxi. Shopping in Lindos was lovely, most of the shops selling the same type of items but the atmosphere and the layout of the town make it seem much more special than the products on offer. Restaurants were of a good standard, the one that stands out by far was Med East. Without doubt the best restaurant in Lindos that we came across. Check before you go though as on our last night when we went to return for a second visit there was a wedding on.

We hired a car and visited a couple of local beaches but to be honest didn't find one as nice as the one at the hotel. Rhodes old town was beautiful - again nice shops but selling the same tat as the shops in Lindos. We took a donkey up to the Acropolis which was OK, views were great but with no guide it really was hard to take everything in as there were so many people all going in different directions, there seemed to be no start or finish, but some great photo opportunities.

All in all the hotel made our trip to Linods, and when we return we will probably not leave the hotel very much just sit back, relax and unwind. Oh and eat Breakfast..!

Room Tip: Shared pool rooms were overlooked and you could swim and look in on your neighbour. I personally wou...

Stayed here in June 2012 with my girlfriend. Everything about the hotel was top class! Service and food was outstanding! Views from the room and throughout hotel are amazing! We went on a b&b basis, but if we decided to come back here in the future we would definitely come back on a half board basis as the food was better (by a long way) than any restaurant we tried in Lindos! You will struggle to find a better hotel of its kind in Europe!!

I went with my girlfriend for a week end. I strongly recommend it! The rooms are very clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. It has two restaurants with excellent food. Take a drink to the bar after the sunset.

We stayed here for 2 weeks from 27/6/12 we stayed in a junior suite with shared pool, we got married in the sister hotel next door called Lindos Mare which is only a short walk from Lindos blu, we got the ultimate hospitality from everybody here everything was perfect we was upgraded for the last 5days to a maisonette with large private pool, it's own gym! Whirlpool jacuzzi it had everything. We also was half board the second week and the food is really top notch and the evening meals are faultless we also tried the a la carte restaurant on one occasion and it was probably one of the best meals I've ever had that restaurant doesn't get very busy and is very quiet but that just makes it seem like you have the place to yourself. Anybody reading this thinking of staying here don't hesitate you won't regret it, Lindos village is 5mins in a taxi and is definitely a must. Me and the wife will definately be coming back this hotel has made perfect memories for us. A few tips- there's a fridge in the room and a shop at the bottom of the hill near the beach worthwhile stocking up on water and refreshments as this adds up when your buying from the hotel for 2weeks, the ice bar is very novelty place to go a ice cave where even u drink out of blocks of ice! If your eating out then we went to melenos which was very nice quite expensive but nice setting and then we went to the mythos restaurant with our wedding party 38 people and everyone's meal was very nice and very reasonably priced. Also I'd recommend hiring a boat for a few hours from the beach down from the hotel you can fill the on board ice box up with all your drinks and spend time at sea travelling round all the close by bays what makes it easier is just ring reception here and there'll book it all for you! There's nothing this hotel won't do for you including finding a lost handbag in Lindos with camera, phone and €180s still inside!!! Don't think that would be the case in England!
