We came to this hotel the 1st week of May from the moment to step inside this modern botique hotel you will be treated like royalty- The staff around the Pool (Bianca could'nt do enough for you) Bar prices not bad for the standard of accom- You must go into the Al a Carte restaurant the chefs here are michelin star standard- The rooms are very modern you sit in your Jacuzzi Bath press a button- and the blind comes up with a stunning view of Lindos bay- I only regret I have is that we wernt there longer- Book this hotel and you wont be dissapointed! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

From the moment we confirmed booking of this hotel with their reception I knew we'd made a great choice, they were so helpful in the booking process and made us feel welcome before we'd even arrived, arranging transfers for us and keeping us informed with our booking.

We arrived to our taxi transfer waiting to collect us, and when we arrived at the hotel our greeting was so warm and friendly, they greeted us by name and served us a glass of sparkling wine to relax before showing us to our room. Because we'd arrived later than dinner serving times, we were given a voucher for a lunch on the day we left to make up for it. And oh boy you don't wanna miss a meal here!

So we were shown to our room which was two glass lift rides down, at first it seemed a little confusing, there are 4 lifts in total if you were to travel from beach to reception but its easy once you've been there a day or so. Our room, like every room here, had an amazing sea view and because we were on honeymoon we had rose petals scattered on the floor and towel swans on the bed, plus champagne and fruits awaiting us.

We quickly ordered some late room service dinner, which was fabulous, very large portions and delicious, a taste of the food to come for the week.

Bed was very comfy, bathroom has a window through to the bedroom, with a blind for those who wanted to maintain some privacy (i kept the blind down the whole week, the toilet door is opaque glass and could perhaps leave little to the imagination!) the toiletteries were all high end Korres and were replenished daily. Bath was a whirlpool which was lovely.

The food on half board was absolutely sensational, can rate it highly enough, their chefs must work their butts off every single day, half board is a MUST if you stay. We were worried that if we kept on half board we wouldn't get that good food and would spend a fortune on eating out in Lindos every night, OH HOW WRONG we were! we ended up only having one dinner out in Lindos which was the most highly rated restaurant the hotel could recommend at the top of Lindos Bay, very expensive, great wine list etc, but still not as nice as the hotel food!

So breakfast was the first meal to be impressed by, fabulous selection ranging from breads, cakes, pastries, a full continental selection of meats and cheeses, approx 8 hot dishes and then the egg bar where the lovely chef would cook omelettes etc to order. A whole stand for the fruits and yoghurts......oh the list goes on, but no way could you go hungry with all that on offer. I ate something different every single day of the week and the fab waiters and waitresses couldn't do enough to help you.

We ate lunch only one day, the day we left, instead of dinner using the voucher we'd had from our 'missed dinner' on arrival. Our voucher entitled us to 3 courses but oh lord there is no way I could've eaten that much! We both had salads to start but they were enormous (and delish) and then a main course each, plus breads and dips. Was fantastic.

Dinner, now this was worth the trip alone and if you stay here you'll understand why we chose to stay in and eat dinner at the hotel mainly as its hard to beat. There is a set menu for half board, you have an option of soup to start (we never had it as we would've been too full otherwise) and then the buffet of appetisers......i say appetisisers but these could easily be the main course! breads, cold starters, hot starters, salad bar, chefs speciality, the list goes on! Wine list was good too, very impressed. And then the main course is a daily choice of meat, fish and vegetarian, all were Michelin star impressive. Small enough portions that you didn't feel too much of a piggie for having the starter too, and all were served beautifully, with jus' and foams and all sorts of accompaniments that were to die for.

So after all that eating I did check out the hotel gym most days to work off the calories, two treadmills, bike, weights etc, perfectly adequate equipment although the air condiitoning could do with being turned up in there, as i could only visit early morning or after 6pm as it was in direct sunlight and just too warm. Fresh towels and water on hand.

The bar besides the reception, Luna Lounge I believe, is lovely with views over the bay and a fantastic (bit expensive) cocktail list, would've loved to have tried all of the list!!

Pools were both lovely, we only used the smaller lower level pool as this was closer to our room, only gripe was the lack of nearby toilets to use but had full bar service using the telephone point by the pool and was paradise for us every day, very quiet setting and small enough for us to get beds every day. Not sure it would be that easy if the hotel was at full occupancy though.

We did walk into Lindos itself one day, its not an easy walk and a bit treacherous onthe main road, but if you're fit and healthy then give it a go, or just get a taxi from reception!! Lindos itself is beautiful and take some time to explore all of the higgledy piggledy small roads (its pedestrianised so no fear of being run over!) and you can spend hours there just getting lost and shopping/drinking/eating!!

Overall this trip was everything we wanted and some more, it was pure luxury, service that has been unrivalled in other 5 star hotels across the world and food to die for.

I thank each and every one of the staff who made our stay so memorable, if you're looking for an adult only resort the this has to be the only hotel in Rhodes to stay, you won't be disappointed

We've just returned from a week at Lindos Blu, we were lucky enough to be staying in its opening week and reeped the benefits of a good deal via Thompson for B & B (about half the usual weekly cost inc Flights) and the peacefulness of early season holidays.

The Hotel is beautiful, our room perfect (Fruit & Sparkling wine on arrival & daily gifts) the staff are excellent and a real credit to the hotel, we we're made to feel really welcome and comfortable.
You can book for private/ shared pools, i'm glad we didn't choose this upgrade as they are very small and are over looked by the other rooms, so not very private and the communal pools are fantastic (although i imagine it will be busy mid season!) The secluded beach is perfect, shallow water, great location & there's a small shop near the beach and a couple of beach bars which we're just prepping to open up.
We used the bus to get to & from Lindos with Taxi's for the return journey, this was the only downfall really, as its a little too far to walk on a main road to & from the village. We also caught the bus to Rhodes, its really easy & would recommend to everyone.
We hired a car & visited the Severn springs & the valley of the butterflies, both of which were a dissapointment, however the journey was worth it as there are some lovely sights to see!
All in all it was a relaxing break and the hotel really is really fantastic, we will definitly be looking to book another small luxury hotel for our next break!
If your looking for a true relaxing, beach/sun holiday this is definitly worth it.

We stayed at this hotel in Aug/Sept 2011 for 10 days, and it was out of this world. The staff were wonderful and so caring, genuine and friendly.I am a Coeliac and can only eat Gluten free food and I can honestly say I was treated with 7 star service.....Fresh bread & muffins were made everyday and I was told every night what I would be able to eat on the menu by the delightful Dimitris(Restaurant Manager) who I have to say was excellent as were some of the other restaurant staff, Theo, Ivana,Anastasia,Nikos,Gabriella,Katerina.......and the list goes on...

The views were amazing , rooms lovely, Service was out of this world..........We will definatley be returning to Lindos Blu and have recommended the hotel to many of our friends.

The Hotel can only be described as sheer luxury with amazing staff who made our stay very special .

This review is overdue, sorry. We stayed at this luxury (adult only) hotel September 2011, it was out of this world. The staff were professional, smart and attentive and could not do enough for us. We arrived very late at night and once we had been shown to our room I mentioned that at some time I would like a few more hangers, these were delivered to us 5 minutes later. The food was fabulous and we ate out on the sun terrace for every meal. Wine was quite expensive but commensurate with a 5 star hotel. Every couple of days we found 'treats' in our room, a lovely touch. We had sunshine every day and the sea water was 26 degrees when we were there the first week in September.
Lindos town is a cheap taxi ride away, there is a bus but it is always full and hot and doesn't always run on time so you might have to stand around in the blazing sun - we only did it once.
The only down side for us was the walk, albeit with a couple of lifts, down to the beach - or rather I should say the walk back up. My husband is in his 80's and on some days found it a bit much in the heat. Having said that we did spend most days down by the bay, it was lovely. There is a tiny mini market on the beach front where you can buy fresh filled rolls, fruit and water, ideal if you don't want to trek back up to the hotel for lunch.
We travel a lot, this is probably one of the very best hotels and holiday locations we have stayed at.
