“Really good tapas”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

If you want a proper introduction to tapas in Spain, and you happen to be in Jaca go to la Tasca de Ana, food is very good, very good price, very good atmosphere, very good wine and beer, very friendly staff.
Arrive early, it is so good that it's hard to find a place to sit or stand.

“Great surprise”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

After a recommendation from a shop keeper earlier in the day we made our was to La Tasca de Ana. Walking in the door you are immediately confronted with plates of beautiful Tapas and a happy hello from a gentleman I can only assume was the owner. Be aware, we arrived at 7pm and within 15 minutes the place was packed with no seating.

The food was wonderful. We especially liked the snails and shrimp. Even though it was Tapas we sat for an hour and consumed as much as we could. Excellent choice for an inexpensive and delicious meal.

“So good we went twice!”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

We spent two days in Jaca in which we had lunch at the Tasca de Ana on both days!

The Tasca de Ana is no bigger than a shoebox and the space around the bar is so crowded with people even the waitresses can barely get past - however the space seems to magically expand to fit more people on and we were shown to a table both times we dined and sat very happily amongst the buzz of this very Spanish establishment.

The food was so well priced and so delicious that we had really gone to food heaven! The waitresses did not force us to speak English or choose from an English menu like in some other establishments, instead letting us look at the Spanish menu and trying to explain to us what the things we hadn't heard of were. Towards the end of our meal we were choosing food at random in any case because everything was so delicious and reasonable that it hardly mattered what it was! Tapas are brought out around 5 minutes after you order them so you can start off with a couple and then order more until you are full. We never felt rushed or pressured to move on despite how busy the restaurant was. It was a real gem.

If you want to try La Tasca de Ana but fear not getting a table for dinner I would heartily substituting dinner for lunch where you are more likely to get a table but where the atmosphere is so hearty it might as well be dinner!

“Simply the best....”
Reviewed June 7, 2013 via mobile

We took the advice of other reviewers and arrived early. A good thing! Few restaurants in Spain move before 9 but this was buzzing by 7:30. Not knowing much about tapas, we asked for advice and also for recommendations for wine. We were served a series of delicacies which were absolutely delicious. They looked wonderful and tasted divine. The wine was really good and very reasonably priced. If you are in Jaca, we really recommend La Tasca de Ana. You will not be disappointed.

“Great tapas!”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

We have been here for tapas a few times now and it is great. Always busy with locals so get there when they open or you will be stood outside! The rodolfitos are good but so is everything else. Highly recommended.
