When a hotel has only excellent revues it does seem hard to believe.
From the email contact where advice on New Years Eve dining was provided , booked and transport arranged, to the spacious rooms, great breakfast, friendly advice and care beyond anything we expected , this is a definite "must return".
Dont believe the star rating, it is a very clever decision by Monika, She and Lola give a 5 star service in a 3 star hotel.

The hotel was as everyone else describes on here. We booked the hotel due to the recommendations on TA, but we also decided to stay in Jerez due to the things mentioned while reading about this hotel. Since this is a review of the hotel first and foremost, I will start there. It's grand and beautiful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and have character with very tall ceilings. We had a room on the 2nd floor that looked out onto the main street.

Breakfast was very good with cooked eggs, yogurt, fruit, pastries, cereal, etc. Everything about the hotel was great.

However, I do feel the need to talk about Jerez. We would not recommend it and wish we would have made plans to spend the night in Arcos or Cadiz over Jerez. It's a loud city with cars honking, lots of traffic, graffiti, and filth. We were not at all impressed by it and actually quite turned off having come from super cute Granada and Ronda.

We did visit the Sandeman Bodega and really enjoyed our time there. We also say the horse show everyone raves about. It was very nice, but I'd like to say if you think you are not really horse people than this show probably won't excite you. It was nice to see, but we certainly could have skipped it, especially for 18E. I'd recommend a day trip to Jerez to do a bodega or two but would not recommend an extended stay when you can spend your time in Seville, Granada, Ronda, Arcos, Cadiz.

We booked this hotel based on all the reviews on Trip Advisor and like others who did the same, we were not disappointed. The hotel is located on a pretty square within easy walking distance of the main sights. The interior of the hotel quite took our breath away when we stepped through the front door. It's beautifully furnished with a very colonial, spacious feel, but also very tranquil. We arrived very early having driven up from Cadiz, but this didn't phase the incredibly professional and friendly staff at all. We were invited to sit in the courtyard and given tea and coffee whilst they rushed to get our rooms ready - we really weren't expecting this at all as just wanted to leave our bags there until later. Monika booked us onto a sherry tasting tour at the Bodegas Tradicion, which was fabulous and also made us dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant that she highly recommended, and we understood why later. The friends we were travelling with had recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, so we wanted a quiet celebration with them to be marked by a bottle of champagne on the roof terrace in the evening. My husband arranged this on our arrival and sure enough, it all happened seamlessly and was accompanied by some delicious nibbles. Our room was lovely - on the 1st floor and overlooked the inner courtyard. It was light and spacious and very comfortable - we really appreciated the courtesy bottle of chilled water too. In the evening, we had trouble locating the restaurant that Monika had recommended as it turned out she'd marked the wrong street. She mentioned to my husband who had to nip back to the hotel for more information that she "owed" us a free glass of sherry for her error, which we totally forgot about. It was only when we were checking out that we noticed that the 2 night cap sherries we'd ordered for the roof terrace had been deducted from the bill that we realised that she'd been serious. We were very impressed. The breakfast as one would by now expect was superb. What more can I say but go there and experience the hotel for yourself - it's simply superb!

We stayed for 2 nights and loved the clean and elegant former sentorial house. The hotel is on a lovely leafy plaza and is near many wonderful tapas bars and restaurants. The manager gave great recommendations and had a chilled bottle of water waiting for us in our room. The inside of the house is open to the sky and even in June, the cool stone interior kept everything cool. I liked that this hotel, this part of town and in Jerez in general, you could experience Spain without feeling like a major tourist. I would stay here again without question.

We booked this hotel for a three-night stay in Jerez with the intention of moving onto Cadiz for a couple of nights afterwards. Having spent our time there, we decided to extend our stay for a further two nights, taking a day-trip to Cadiz instead.
The Casa Grande is superbly located on a lovely urban square, a short walk to the train/bus station in one direction, and the heart of the old town in the other.
On our arrival, the hotel impressed, with its grand open-air atrium and courteous and helpful staff. We stayed in the excellent 'superior' room located on the corner overlooking the urban square, with a balcony and additional seating area.
The hotel also boasts a large roof terrace - great for relaxing and reading.
To conclude, Casa Grande provided the perfect base for our relaxed time in Jerez, hangin' out at the numerous restaurants and bars...
