“Really nice and cozy hotel...don't miss the spa”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

Stayed for 2 night with my wife during last December. Hotel is really nice decorated, with larger than normal rooms for Spain, with sofa and a working table. Minor problems are the lack of minibar in the room and the breakfast which has plenty of options but it is a little bit overstuffed (Tons of options in 50 sqft). The spa is optional (6,5 EUR per person) but it really worth the price. We decided to try it , even if the main city attraction in tripadvisor seems to be the Turkish Baths, which charge outrageous 25 EUR per person for 2 hours. We didn't regret of our choice.

Room Tip: The street in front of the hotel has some noise, but the hotel has sound-proof windows. Choose a roo...

My stay at the Jandalos was nice. Hotel is very clean. Clean rooms and bathrooms.Rooms were a decent size, as well as the bathroom. My only complaint was the rugs in the room..
I have allergies and they are OLD. They need to get rid of, or change the rugs in the rooms. The Jandalos is an old hotel (70's , 80's decor), but it's nice for a short stay. Hotel is not located so close to the center of town, unless you don't mind walking 20 min. The "spa" I don't recommend. Its no big deal, and you have to walk outside of hotel to get to it. They do have parking, but not free. You can park in the streets and or, feed the meters. Overall....this hotel is decent and all the staff very helpful & made you feel welcomed.

The hotel has a secure parking for € 8,- a day. The employees at the front desk are helpful and speak very well English. The cleaning staff is adequate and also very helpful. We stayed there for 4 nights and had no complaints except the Wifi. Only in the reception area we could surf the internet.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front are, at least to us, very quiet. And we live in the woods were only nature can be...

I took my girlfriend to Jerez for a romantic weekend and wanted a nice room we could come back to in the evenings. It was just that but I was pleasantly surprised by the room actually. The hotel was easy to find and within walking distance to the old parts of town (10-15 minutes stroll). Taxi will cost you around 5 euro.

The room was fairly clean and very charismatic. Loved it actually. Our suite was split over two floors with the bathroom and lounge at the bottom and bedroom up some stairs but overlooking the rest of the room. It was great and much bigger than the pictures let you think.

Gated parking right outside the hotel was worth the extra 8 euro a day. We did not use the spa facilities. Instead you MUST visit the arabic baths which is close to the cathedral. Search for Hammam Andalusi on trip advisor. This place was just magical and I would go there again again.

The only letdown I thought was the breakfast. For a four star hotel it was mediocre at best. I ended up eating doughnuts for breakfast two days in a row. I tried a boiled egg the first morning and it was just killed. Cooked until green and fell apart in flakes. They served buns, bacon, dry cold cuts, some scrambled egg, had all the juices etc and some poor quality yogurts. Maybe I'm just picky but the breakfast did not impress even slightly. They did have a bottle of a red Rioja chilled with the water etc. which I found funny. But it was not that kind of trip for us! Having said that I suppose the breakfast would be ok if you can't be bothered to go out and find your own in town.

All in all I'd stay at this hotel again.

For a European Hotel, the rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. We had a room for three, which included two single beds pushed together and a sofa bed for our 15 year-old daughter. To my surprise, the beds had a remote for raising and lowering the head of the bed. Yes, the television was a little dated, but the room was spacious, modern, clean and nicely decorated. Parking in the back of the hotel was narrow and cost 8-10 Euros (can't remember exact). The free wifi and wonderful coffee in the bar made up for this fee. I would recommend this hotel and I look forward to returning.

Stayed for 1 night and it was good. Parking was available, Wi-Fi was as well. Rooms were nicely done up, nothing fancy, but comfortable. We were looking for "location" and that's what we got as it was pretty much close to everything.

This hotel was fine and clean and I would rate as 3 star. It is a bot old fashioned and tired. the rooms are spacious but with very old TVs, no mini bar and old uncomfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and good. We choose the back of the hotel which has a view over some waste ground that becomes a car park during Holy week. There is a Spa of sorts with beauty treatments. There is not a swimming pool!! I didnt use these facilities as it seemed almost seperate from the hotel and residents were charged for the privelage. Staff were helpful on arrival and there is free WiFi. Breakfast is a terrible buffet affair and self service on everything. Croissants are cheap and very sweet, I needed a degree to work a coffee machine and no fresh eggs but perhaps this was a blessing. Have breakfast out. A mark of 3 as it is clean, tidy, spacious rooms close to town centre but this is the best mark I can give the hotel

Room Tip: Do not choose for the spa, there is no pool or fitness centre
