Great place although the camara oscura wasn't working when we were there. Real peaceful place with great views of the city rooftops from the ramparts.

For an extra 2 Euros this is well worth a hike to the very top floor or the castle building (they have a lift to the 3rd floor but its stairs after that I am afraid so difficult for the less able bodied). The 20 minutes are very informative and in air conditioned comfort, you can see all around the city 360 degrees and the guide spoke excellent English too. One of the gems of a visit to Jerez!

If you have already been to a Camara Oscura, you may think this one is just another one on the list. The views are very nice, as with the other Camara Oscura and the staff are very friendly, but, well, it is the same as in the other Cameras Oscuras

When you enter the room stand opposite the guide - you will get a better view! Go after you have explored a number of sights - it puts it all in perspective

Gives a superb view over the town. Pity the narration is only in Spanish. Well worth doing if you go to the Alcazar
