Hipotels Sherry Park

This is a modern and well located hotel in pleasant & quiet gardens. A steady stroll from the Old Town but convenient. The hotel is well appointed with good a/c. A room overlooking the pool is recommended for the view and tranquillity.
The hotel has a nice bar (great mojitos) but is often very busy due to multiple coach loads of guests who also quickly clog-up the restaurant. Reception can be overwhelmed when a new coachload of guests arrive.
Jerez is well worth a visit for 3/4 days and this hotel is a solid choice.

Room Tip: Room with garden/pool view.

We travelled to Jerez for the Feria del Caballo and to visit surrounding locations. The hotel was better than expected, considering that we travelled with a group and booked through an agency. Nice reception area, obviously refurbished recently and well maintained. The rooms were nice as well, spacious and clean. Our window was on the back of the hotel, looking at the garden with lawn. The swimming pool looked very nice. Plenty of room in the parking, even if rather awkward for the large coach we were travelling in - the driver had to work hard to get in and out. We had breakfast and dinner with our arrangement - breakfast was good, dinner OK. Distances from the old town and the Feria del Caballo quite comfortable. Will use it again when we return to Jerez.

Room Tip: We had rooms on the garden side, not overlooking the pool, which was good, as we didn't get the...

We stayed here for one night. The hotel is a little way out of the centre of town which is a 25 minute walk away. There are pleasant gardens and both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The latter was not open for use during our visit as there was no life guard present - we presume it was because it was out of season ( at the end of May). The restaurant was good and there was a large bar area where one could get snack meals during the day. Rooms were comfortable.

Stayed here during visit to the Feria del Caballo, which was only a 5 minute walk away, as was the Horse School. The town centre is 10 minutes walk (20 to the cathedral). The hotel is modern and situated in pleasant grounds set back from the main road. Rooms were spacious and the buffet dinner and breakfasts were very good. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here as part of a group. We came to see the Horse Fair which was a short walk up the road. The facilities are excellent and the swimming pool terraces and gardens are lovely. Well worth a visit when staying in Jerez. Walking to the town approx. 15 minutes.

Stayed here for three nights as a group. The room was supposed to be an Accessible one; we just got the wheelchair in but could not move round the room at all because of the amount of furniture; the wet room had grab rails but no seat not so good when you cannot stand for long. We also found a used cigarette butt on the carpet. The selection of food at breakfast was good and all the staff friendly. Would not choose to stay here again!

We were disappointed. The hotel has seen better days. When we entered our room there was awefully old cigarette smell. We could change rooms fortunately. The receptionist was very nice, the other staff rather ignorant. The fitness room was in bad condition, the equipment was old and full of sweat, also it had 40 degrees or so, as there was no window. The inside pool was rather cold, the outside pool was closed for no observable reason. The garden was pretty, the breakfest buffet was huge.
