This is a traditional, old-fashioned, family-run ice cream parlour and coffee shop. They don't speak English and we only found it because we were renting an appartment right around the corner. They've got around three dozen different home-made flavours which my kids managed to work their way through. Their favourites were the "double chocolate" and the "oreo" ones and also worthy of mention are "bubble gum" and the blue "pitufo" (smurf) flavours - although I don't believe any real smurfs were killed in the production of the ice cream.
Tables and chairs are on the street outside and this is a great place to come in the late afternoon to watch people go by. You can get coffee and breakfast here although they don't do lunch or dinner.
They serve beer and spirits and, on our last afternoon, Marcos the barman made my wife a very alcoholic mojito cocktail with fresh ice cream and loads of rum. If she'd known he could fix these she would have had one every day!
