If you want to go to a restaurant which is typical of the sherry triangle area then look no further than La Posada. It is located in one of the ancient ex bodegas of Jerez. It is family owned and the food is locally sourced and prepared in a typical Andalusian manner. You can sample fresh seafood and fish from local fishing villages of the Costa de la Luz. If you go for Sunday lunch you can see the Spanish families dressed in their Sunday best but you will have to book because it is very popular with tourists and locals alike. It is a charming and delight place to enjoy a good meal. All in all a unique experience which you could only have in this wonderful, largely undiscovered city.

we ( 4 persons ) game in a bit early. 8.15 h. kitchen opens at 8.30 p.m. everybody confused. we ask for the winelist - acc. to the info tremendous - ca. 15 wines on the list. no problem for us, we picked a right one. the food was a different story, not everything on the menu was in house, but no problem the owner went out to buy it somewhere and came back. this happened with the starter and maincourse but in a funny way. to owner spook broking english very well and acted like a comedian. all together we had a very nice and enjoyable evening.

The food was fresh and of great quality. The cook prepared our fish fantastic, the food spoke for itself. What we especially liked was the great passion in which the cook spoke about the ingredients and the way he proudly showed us the fresh fish he just bougt. We had a great evening, this was deffinentely the best meal we ate in jerez, way better than most of the restaurants that were higher ranked on tripadvisor. We reccomend this restaurant!

This is a small restaurant focusing on fresh quality ingredients at reasonable prices. The owner was delightful and speaks a little English. The service is a little quirky but who's in a hurry? We ate here twice and sampled wonderful fresh sole and hake, baby squid and very tender entrecôtes. The wine list is good but they have a limited supply, however the owner recommended some very good alternative wines. There were six of us and we particularly liked the calm and quiet atmosphere. Every dish we had was good and cooked simply with a little seasoning to bring out the flavours. I like the no nonsense approach to good food and appreciated their recommendations on what was best.
