I booked this apartment months in advance with dealings with Rocky always attended to in good time. As we were staying for a week we had some expectations as to provisions and resources based on numerous stays in other apartments around the country.
Thankfully the apartment is on the second floor a relatively easy flight of stairs up from the car park (entered off Bateman Street).
As mentioned the location of the apartment is the real winner for this older block of apartments. The system of gaining entry was smooth as were Rocky's instructions yet that's where the attention stops.
We were allotted 2 towels, one Bath mat, bedding for the bed, minimal toiletries for our week stay. There is a sign on the fridge regarding visitors cleaning the apartment, which is great however when you are removing a piece of glass from your wife's foot within 5 minutes of entering it makes you look a little closer.
There is a washing machine without any powder sachets provided.
The towel rail in the bathroom is located directly in line with the hoses to and from the washing machine making use a pain.
Toilet paper supplies were insufficient for 2 adults for a week.
The Air conditioner (no ceiling fan) smells when run, filter probably requires cleaning or replacement.
Did I mention that the apartment is in a great location.
The kettle is a shocker. Water spills out from the spout all over the counter when you pour.
Another set of blinds would be great on the kitchen side window as the ambient morning light is strong from the east.
The tiles on the shower floor are wall tiles rather than floor tiles and are a serious slip hazard.
The TV Controller needs to be replaced as the channel selector is nearly worn out.
