We were staying at the hotel that also runs the restaurant and decided to dine on our first night.
The restaurant had a wedding on at the same time but did not seem that busy. Indeed the dining room we were sat in had a total of 5 tables all night.
The manageress was efficient and spoke excellent English. The manager (whom we found out was her husband or relative) was useless. He wandered between the table delivering food to the wrong tables and after she shouted at him publicly on two occasions he went and sat at a table in the door way and simply stared at her as she served the restaurant alone !
Food was bland and not very appetising.
The restaurant is very strangely designed with lots of tacky plastic flowers, and horrible china decorations dotted around.
On departure we asked if we could bill our food to our room as you can in literally EVERY other restaurant attached to a hotel all over the world but we were told very rudely "NO pay now".
There are much better restaurants in the area for less money as we found the next night.

Good Food, lack of English speaking staff made it a challenge. Pasta was consistently good. Their 20 Euro pp deal is well worth it. It includes Wine.

We decided to visit this restaurant as guests of the neighbouring hotel, and our expectations were greatly exceeded! Despite being a 'hotel restaurant,' the place itself was beautifully decorated, sophisticated, and with very friendly staff who also worked in the hotel at breakfast time.

We went for the fixed price menu which was great value and so simple to choose from- there's separate meat and vegetarian menus so plenty to choose from- the gnocchi is divine and you can request which sauce you would like depending on what you fancy- cheese or tomato.

We received a large plate of complimentary bread and garlic butter whilst we waited for our mains, and the fixed price includes a decent-sized glass of sparkling wine each (and bottled water of course), as well as a little sweet treat after your meal (we had a little shotglass-sized white chocolate mousse on one of our two visits- delicious!)

The staff were very friendly and recognised us from the hotel and on our second visit they remembered us from a few nights before. Unfortunately, the restaurant does tend to be closed on certain nights, but reception will always tell you if they are so you can make other plans, in which case I would recommend staying in Venice till later if you are staying in Quarto D'altino.

Overall, a lovely restaurant with fantastic food and choice- we will definitely revisit here on our inevitable return to the Park Hotel Junior!

The restaurant is linked to the Park Hotel Junior (see my review). The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Faultless. The surroundings were delightful. An Excellent menu. Try the Venetian Fish Dish.
