We had a great stay at Borgo Ritella - following signs for Zoosafari, it was east to find, and in a great location overlooking Fasano. Owners and staff very friendly and welcoming, despite not speaking much English - we got along fine despite the language barrier. Rooms we're clean and spacious, with modern kitchens and bathrooms, comfy beds and rustic decor touches. Breakfast good, wifi excellent and much appreciated - and the pool was great! The whole site feels well cared for, and in a very quiet tranquil location only 5 mins drive from Fasano. Would not hesitate to stay again.

The masseria is located in the middle of an olive orchid overseeing the seashore outside Fasano. The beaches are within a 5-10 minutes ride and you have quite a few options to choose. Everything about the resort is excellent. Rooms are well set and furnished, you have everything you need for a comfortable stay (air conditioned, kitchinette, small terrace). The pool is well kept and have plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Breakfast is quite rich and when we asked for eggs one morning, the staff made sure these were on the table in every day we stayed there. Staff is part of the owners family and do their best to accomodate every request. If you travel with children, the Zoosafari is just around the corner and it's a must see. Book at least half a day for this attraction, it will worth the time and money.

Room Tip: Rooms in the back of the main building are best placed, have shadow in the afternoon and can spend t...

We have just returned from a great stay at the Borgo Ritella. The welcome we received from the owner and staff was first class. We came with our baby son and the owner himself made sure that we had everything we needed. Even going out to get us one of those seats you can attach to a table for feeding our son.

The individual 'villini' as they are called, (self catering apartments), are beautifully clean and very comfortable with lovely features. The pool area and surrounding gardens show off the natural environment of the region. The Mediterranean breakfast was delicious. All in all this is a wonderfully friendly, picturesque and relaxing hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

If I must pick fault on just one thing then it's the fact that the pool isn't heated and even in the heat of July the water stayed very fresh throughout the day.

We feel very fortunate to have picked Borgo Ritella to spend our holiday at because the whole place is absolutely amazing.
We rented the Suite which has two bedrooms -a Double and a twin bedded room as well as a large lounge diner and kitchen and a very nice bathroom and a separate toilet too.It even has a washing machine in this Suite.
The place is furnished to a high standard with a mix of modern and traditional and it works well.
The views from every part of this complex are amazing sea views as this place is in the hills at the top end of Fasano. For Families seeking a fun day out, it is very near Zoo Safari.
Breakfast is included in the cost and the quality, quantity and selection of items for breakfast was superb.
The family that own and run Borgo Ritella are just the nicest people and they cannot do enough for you. Young Paula can speak pretty good English and that was so helpful- it is an amazing place. The pool is wonderful and there are plentiful poolside beds and a Bar at the pool too. The complex is secure and the owners give you an electronic key to buzz open the electronic gates to the complex. In summary, this is a very good value for money place I would strongly recommend that you go to -you are very unlikely to be disappointed- I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel and the family that run it -fantastico!!

Room Tip: Choose the suite for that extra space and luxury, although friends and family with us had standard d...

Borgo Ritella is a wonderful seaside resort run by a charming family in the midst of olive groves and the Zoo Safari.
The rooms and resort are fresh, new, and clean. The apartments have two roomie bedrooms and one common kitchen which is well equipped, minus the basics of groceries (easily found in the small markets in Fasano 5 minutes away). If you want more than the basics, fruits and vegetables, take a 10 minute car ride to the small Adriatic village of Savelettri for gellato, fresh fish markets, and a day close to the each.
Borgo has a fantastic staff that assists with anything and everything from breakfast, a small continental fruits and yummy croissants, to meals poolside. We used the kitchen in the apartment, but the staff was poolside delivering drinks, cafe, and service all day.
For Families, this location can't be beat for the Zoo Safari. It's literally, 400 meters from the entrance. Entrance is 22 euro for adults, 19 for children, but to have lions & tigers next to the car and Giraffes and deer inside the car is a child's (big and small) fantasy come true. It is a 2 hour tour in the car and you have to pay foot entrance to goto the amusement park, plus parking.
Overall, we're very pleased with every aspect of Borgo Ritella and are going back to see more of the Bari area and the gratto, a mere 15 minutes to the north. We highly recommend this to our family friends...hope you enjopy.

Room Tip: Bring kitchen staples, apartment nine is super quiet, watch out for bees around kids in the olive or...

We stayed here for one week in early May. The apartments are delightful and spacious in a beautifully designed setting with views across Fasano. The continental breakfast is plentiful and the staff and owners are very friendly although their English is limited. This is a good central base for travelling around Puglia. It is necessary to travel by car to find a restaurant in the evening although the kitchen area means that if you want to you can bring something in to eat. I was disappoineted that the swimming pool was not open when we visited as I was told it was not warm enough - I think it would have been fine for us Brits though! That was a shame as we would have like to relax by the pool after a day out.

Borgo Ritella is located near zoosafari, which helped us locate it. It was a perfect place outside of town that allowed us to have our peace and quiet. It was a nice home base for traveling to nearby cities in the area. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The sea view is amazing. The pool was nice. Everything was clean and orderly. If I ever come back to Puglia, I will be staying here again!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a sea view. The place is also difficult to find because it is outside Fasano Ce...
