Okay...nice small hotel.Very clean.Food ok.Very, very rude receptionist...small man with very angry eye`s.NEVER TAKE A ROOM FOR ONE PERSON!!!There no window,no safe,no fridge.Change room not impossible, even if you offer money.Iam sad now, beacose San Vincenzo make my holiday nightmare.Iam never go back and when you alone, please do not go...or reserve room for two, with big window.Sorry for this bad rating but really I can not forget it and not forgive it.

Room Tip: Take a room with sea view!!!

Surprised by some of the less favourable reviews as we enjoyed our stay. Important to realise Italian hotel ratings do not equate to Irish ones. The photos on Tripadvisor reflect what you get. Hotel is comfortable, very clean, decor and furnishing perfectly adequate. Had room without balcony on front for first week and changed to room with balcony at back for small supplement on second week. View across street at other balconies not great but we could sit out for short time we spent in hotel at night. Room was big and bright. Airconditioning worked and was not noisy.Housekeeping was excellent and no problem getting bath towels and shampoo when requested. All staff were friendly and helpful especially Roberto and Angelo in diningroom. Breakfast was standard for type of hotel: cereals, breads, two fresh fruits each day, yogurt, boiled eggs, cold meats and cheese, coffee and tea. We were B&B but other guests told us the dinners were good so we tried them in last week. The food was good and great value with better choice than many local cafes/restaurants. Pizza and pasta can get repetitive. No pool will be a drawback to some but the beach is across the road with free sunbeds and parasol. The beach attendents will not win any personality contests but we had no hassle getting beds at any time of day, even with Italian national holiday during our stay. No sunbed looks more than 50 steps from the water but buy beach shoes (€9-12) as the beach is stoney.Topflight warned about the walk with suitcase to the coach pickup. The local rep's directions to the pickup point were not good but I sussed it out early and it was not too difficult. We were offered transport for € 5 each. Check out the Blue Sky gelatoria in Piazza Durante for the best icecream in Letojanni. Da Nino and Ciao Ciao are good restaurants. Enjoyed excursions to Syracuse (Greek and Roman theatres), Mount Etna volcano and sea trip to Stromboli island to watch volcanic eruptions at night.

Room Tip: Nice to have a balcony with seaview but supplement to pay. Balance against time you will spend in ro...

Never stay here. We had basic room, though other guests told us it was the best room, with balcony overlooking the sea. Cleaning of rooms very good. Food dreadful. Thank goodness we were B&B!!This is a 2-3 star hotel as 4 star should always have a pool. They must have some good friends?! Hassle with drop off and pick up. Topflight wanted us to walk good half mile with heavy cases, up steps, along main road.. nightmare, and the hotel courtesy bus sitting in its hotel space, unused. Due to my spinal injury this was impossible. Thank goodness we eventually got transport. The beach assigned to the hotel is not a private beach private , it is a public beach on which hotel guests are allowed the use of parasols and beds for free.Local Italian families reserve the most ideally situated beds.On our last morning in Letojanni the restaurant 30 ft from our room was burned to the ground. Firemen included some of the locals, and no water supply could be found for at least 20 mins.

Room Tip: Only sea view.

Just after a fortnight here, it was our second time. It is a nice little hotel, immaculately clean (your toothpaste tubes are even squeezed up for you). We had a room with a balcony and a sea view, so it was fabulous and bright. The room is a grand size, one criticism would be how few wall sockets there were. The bathroom is lovely, had a window and all, which is unusual for a hotel. There were always plenty of towels. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the women who do the rooms. The fact you're covered for the beach - which is straight across the road - is a big plus financially. The breakfast is fine, it is just a pity that they don't take advantage of the local fruit. The bus stop for traveling up to Taormina is behind the hotel, and coming down is right opposite the door. It is a very fine spot indeed!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and the overall impression is great. The service was great, especially at the hotel's restaurant - Angelo and Roberto are great guys, very helpful and nice, they create a special atmosphere of this hotel.

We had a standard room with a view to another building. The room facilities were average and typical for italian 4* hotels. AC was working a bit noisy, but it was ok. The room was very clean, towels were changed every day, bed linen - approx. each 3 days.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The beach is very close - just to cross a road. The only thing is lido staff - as I understood they are trying to make business and provide hotel's guest with the sun beds wich are not so good and rather far from the sea, despite the fact that they have available ones closer to the sea. They alwasy say that these are reserved for the not hotel's guests (as they are not free of charge for others), but in fact they were rarely occupied - during weekends only, when many Italians are coming to the coast.

The breakfast in the hotel was average, but ok - always fresh bread, cheese, ham, fruits, croissants. And the dinners were absolutely delicious each time - we tried all Sicilian specialities during this time.

This hotel is the best one in Letojanni, during 2 weeks we noticed that there were many guests who were not here for the first time - they are always coming back to San Vincenzo to spend holidays. If we ever come again to Letojanni, we will definitely choose this hotel also!

Location was fine, but room we were given was a room connected to another room, with
no window as such, food was not up to scratch at all, glad we were moved within 24 hours of arriving there, would not go back unless I got a Balcony overlooking the Sea, and was given the week for Free!.

Highly Recommended!, Very clean, Food Perfect, Would definately go back. Located in a lovely area.

The beach accross the road is the only downfall, It's covered in large stones which is sore to walk barefeet on.
