Having decided we would eat out for our main evening meal we wanted something light for lunch.
We were going to try the Tapas however a German friend told us about the zwiebelkuchen (onion cake) and neue wine.
Being red wine drinkers we were unsure about ordering the new wine but boy I am glad we did.
The zwiebelkuchen was absolutely delicious and the neue wine complemented this perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.
My only comment would be that drinks are more expensive here than other places we had visited at 3.50 euros for a weiss beer. This is probably due to the Empanada being situated in the heart of the old city.
