“Perfect for Euro Disney!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2012

Just returned from a 3 night stay here on a mid-term visit to Euro Disney.
Bussy St Georges is just two stops from the park gates (seven or eight minutes by train) and the Tulip Inn IS within sight of the train station as stated on their web site; we paid less than 12 Euros in total for 3 return tickets from the hotel to the parks.
We travelled Easy Jet from Edinburgh to Charles de Gaulle and took the RER train from the airport to Bussy St Georges (about a 70 minute journey).
The whole process was very straightforward (buying rail tickets in the airport, changing trains etc) and even the most inexperienced of travellers needn't worry about slip-ups.
The hotel is clean and relaxing and the staff welcoming and informative.
We booked directly with the Tulip website and breakfast was included in the deal.
Breakfast is served until 9.30 (10.00 at weekends) which fits in perfectly with the park opening times.
There's a cosy little bar in the hotel which we visited each night to unwind after our park visits and there are several restaurants within a stone's throw of the front door; we ate twice in a very good Chinese Restaurant called the 'Canard d'Or' (Golden Duck) which is just outside the train station. The Pattiserie outside the station is also first class.
All in all we (myself, my wife and our six year old son) had a great time.
There really is no need to pay exorbitant prices in the Disney hotels when there are places such as this just a few minutes away.
Of course the flight, the trains and the hotel are all a means to an end.
As for Euro Disney..........simply fantastic!!!

We had no problems with the Tulip Inn - apart from finding it, but that was our fault for driving out of Paris in peak hour without a map. Actually, when you get to Bussy St Georges there are street signs for the various hotels. Tulip Inn is in the centre of town, which is good. We had to pay 7 euros to park the car - which we weren't expecting to pay, but probably worth it. We had dinner in the hotel - in hindsight we should probably have patronised one of the many local establishments but we thought the menu in the hotel looked more French. Breakfast however was spectacularly good and well worth the charge, whatever it was. We spent nearly an hour at the buffet (and sneaked some food out to smuggle in to Disneyland).
The hotel is very handy for Disneyland - only 2 stops on the train, though we went by car. It's a long way from Paris, though, and train fares weren't particularly cheap, so although we'd come back if we were going back to Disneyland (and we went twice on this trip!) if we were planning a Paris stay we'd stay (much) closer in. This time we rented an excellent appartment in the 18th from Air BNB for the rest of our Paris time.
The family room was a bit crowded for 4 of us. The fold up bed folded up and couldn't be resurrected (by us, at least) but no problem because it still worked flat on the floor!
The shower is worth a mention, though. It was probably the best shower of our whole trip - the best we had since we left Australia! That and the breakfast were the best things about this very pleasant hotel. The staff were good too - fluent English so I didn't have to striuggle too hard in French. The waiter in the restaurant spoke only French - but I think this may have been in a (vain) attempt to get our children to speak French. He was charming in any case.
Good hotel, recommended.

Room Tip: My only tip is - make sure you get breakfast included!

We arrived at Tulip Inn and were impressed, very much like photos and really really quiet. After a long haul from Brisbane Australia we needed the rest.
Both my husband and I slept we'll, bed great very comfy, and the cleanliness very high, I'm big on cleanliness. The room was great for our two day stay, separate toilet was a plus, and we had the buffet breakfast which was included in the price. Yum! Lots to choose from.
I would recommend this hotel and if you want to go to Disneyland it's a plus the train is a few mins down the road, and about ten mins on train.
We also went to Vincennes for the day, great boutiques and glorious fresh produce and pastries.

Enjoy!! Regard Colin and Cindy Narangba Australia

Room Tip: Level 4 so quiet

We recently stayed at this hotel at the beginning of September. It is a nice hotel and the room was spacious for our family of four. Two adults and two kids (ages 11 and 14). The hotel is very ideal for visiting Disneyland but we found that it was far if you wanted to go into the city of Paris for more than one day. Train station is very close to the hotel and the breakfast (which was included in our room rate) was very good. The problem is if you have to go into the city of Paris the train is expensive because the hotel is in Zone 5 and most of the cheaper train rates were for Zones 1-3. It is a long train ride to Paris and in fact we had problems with transportation arriving and departing from the hotel. We arrived at CDG airport on a late flight around 11pm and the shuttle service that we had reserved (InterService Prestige) did not show up. We called the number listed in the confirmation email and no one answered. It was a very frustrating experience. We finally got a cab and his rate was actually cheaper than the shuttle service (55 Euros). The cab fare listed at the hotel to return to the airport was 85Euros so we caught the train which took forever and we missed our flight. Lesson learned - leave very early for your flight out of Paris. We would return to this hotel if we were going to Disney but would not use it as a base for Paris.

We stayed at Tulip Inn Marne La Vallee in September 2012. There was a group of about 30 persons from Ireland attending my son’s wedding. Some people stayed up to five nights. Besides the experience of the French wedding which was fantastic our stay in the Tulip Inn exceeded all our expectations. The staff are very professional and very friendly. We had a number of great nights in the restaurant. François at short notice and without being asked arranged the tables so we were together as if at a long table. A great night was had by all.
The area itself, Bussy St George, also exceeded our expectations. There are lovely walks through local parks and around lakes which are very accessible and well lit at night. There are also local walks through the countryside. The hotel is just across the square from the RER with easy access to Disney and central Paris. The RER unfortunately does not go direct to CDG airport. A taxi costs 60/70 Euro and although much more expensive than RER saves the travel to central Paris and out to CDG.
Nina and Charlotte at reception were exceptional. As we passed through reception there was always a friendly smile.
We had one incident which could have caused us a lot of grief and that was that my wife left her purse in the taxi which took us to CDG for our flight home. We phoned Charlotte who immediately came to our rescue by making contact with the taxi company and driver and as it was too late for us to retrieve it she kindly held it for collection by my sons in-laws.
Overall a great experience.

We obtained some free tickets through SKY TV to Disneyland Paris so it prompted us to make the journey to Disneyland and re-visit Paris.
We knew about the area of Bussy St George as we had visited Disneyland when it first opened and always said we would stay here if we ever returned.
We were not disappointed as most people have stated it is very convenient for the RER train to both Paris and Disney- a little quiet haven to come back to-although the town itself maybe a little too quiet for some people.
We found a few places to eat in town , there is a restaurant in the Hotel and also a McDonalds about 10 mins walk out of town.
Unlike some other people luckily we had breakfast included in our stay at the Tulip and although a little repetative we were glad we had as there wasn't a lot of choice of places to get breakfast in comfort.
The rooms were very clean , well insulated but no kettle- so if this is important to you take your own.
All in all we enjoyed our 4 nights here, and we bought sandwiches from the bakery right next door to the train station.

We made a sudden plan to Paris and the prices of hotels in Paris city were ridiculous . The hotel is about 30 minutes from the main city by RER but the station is 2 mts from the station. The location was safe and when we returned late at night children were skating happily near the hotel. If you are visiting disneyland then you dont need any 2nd thoughts- imho just go for it . However if you are traveling to Paris city you may want to evaluate if you are ready to spend that etc 30 mts commuting to the city and back another 30 at the end of a long day. We did it and had no problem. We drove and parked in the hotel and used the metro to visit the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
